-- Cody Rhodes and Goldust (Dustin Rhodes) have yet to comment on Twitter following the death of their father, Dusty Rhodes.

-- Numerous wrestling legends reflected on Dusty Rhodes at the Championship Wrestling from Florida gathering Thursday night in Tampa, Fla.

Dusty died the morning of the gathering, which included appearances by the Funk Brothers, Ricky Steamboat, Jerry Brisco, J.J. Dillon, Al Perez, Rocky Johnson, Brian Blair, Hector Guerrero, Ron Bass, Fred Ottman, Bushwhacker Luke, Jimmy Hart, and Bill Alfonso. Plus, WWE main roster stars Kofi Kingston and Roman Reigns.

Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald talked to the Funks and others about Dusty, plus recapped the gathering in an article HERE at MiamiHerald.com.

“Dusty Rhodes was my brother who I’ve known since 1966,” said Jerry Brisco. “I’ve traveled throughout the world with him. Something I will always take form Dusty Rhodes is to believe in yourself and believe in what you are doing or don’t do it at all. Dusty Rhodes took an idea that he had and became a globally famous man because he believed it. He was a giver. I love you Dusty and will see you on the other side.”

-- TMZ released an on-camera interview Roddy Piper talking about Dusty Rhodes. Piper got emotional reflecting on Dusty being a "national treasure." Piper followed with a Dusty Story about smuggling a donkey - or some other animal that he can't recall - up to the 13th floor of an apartment. [ Video HERE ]
