Raw TV news & notes 6/8

- Dean Ambrose still retained possession of the WWE World Title by the end of the night. Ambrose stood on top of a ladder to close Raw, taunting WWE World Hvt. champion Seth Rollins ahead of their ladder match for the title at the Money in the Bank PPV on Sunday.

This followed Seth Rollins losing a handicap match against his security guards, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury, in the TV main event.

- Triple H and Stephanie McMahon only appeared in backstage segments trying to motivate Rollins to prove that he does not need The Authority's help.

- Kevin Owens successfully defended the NXT Title against Neville in an NXT Open Challenge. It was billed as the first NXT Title match on Raw. U.S. champion John Cena was on commentary to promote the Owens-Cena re-match at MITB on Sunday.

- WWE ran an injury angle with Lana, who "fell off the entrance ramp" when Rusev intimidated her. This allowed Kane to beat Dolph Ziggler, who then tended to Lana after the match.

- Bray Wyatt did not appear on Raw one week after losing to Roman Reigns in the Raw TV main event last week.

Wyatt's former runningmates, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, brought their new 3D finisher to Raw TV in a squash victory over Los Matadores.

- WWE introduced the 40 Tough Enough finalists via still photos spread out during the show.

- WWE did not announce any matches or segments for this week's Smackdown episode.
