This week's sit-down interview with Michael Cole featured Arn Anderson and Michael Hayes replacing Triple H.

The interview focused on Hunter's WrestleMania 31 match against Sting, who Anderson and Hayes talked about to continue giving WWE's audience more background on WCW's franchise player. The purpose was to set the stage for the match story (from two of WWE's Creative contributors talking in storyline context).

Most of the discussion was about WWE vs. WCW, why WWE fans would even cheer for Sting, and trying to hype this as an epic clash between two franchise players (using the same verbiage that would be said if this were Sting vs. Undertaker). The result was minimizing Hunter needing to get his comeuppance as the top heel in the promotion.

Finally, at the end of the sit-down, Anderson got around to talking about Sting's mission of seeking justice, but Cole swung it back to framing this as a clash of respectable top stars despite Hunter's un-respectable actions in power.

Hayes set up Anderson's comment: "You gotta keep in mind why Sting came back. Sting didn't come back to lose. He didn't come back just to be at WrestleMania. He's got a plan and he's going to try to execute it. Whether he does or not, in my opinion, I don't think so."

Anderson followed up: "Sting bucked the system. Sting - baseball bat on the nose of The Authority. Don't think this is about WCW - or the shadows of what used to be - against WWE. That's not what this fight is about. If I were Triple H, I wouldn't think that many people were happy with what he's been doing with this company. Abuse of power stretches across this entire world. Sting's a guy who has the guts to step up and do something about it."

Cole followed up by shifting away from Sting's mission to build up the match: "Either way, like Michael said before, it's a match we've never seen before and we're never going to see again."
