Injured WWE star Daniel Bryan remains stuck in neutral trying to get back in the ring. Bryan told Sports Illustrated this week that he's physically fine, but weakness in his arm is disallowing him from returning to action.

"The funny thing is I actually feel fine. There isn't a problem with pain or anything like that goes. The problem is weakness. Before my neck surgery and then even after, I have a lot of weakness in my right hand," Bryan told SI.com host Maggie Gray.

"It's dangerous for my opponents and dangerous for me to not have the strength. But, I'm not in a lot of pain; we just can't figure out how to get the strength back."

Bryan noted the recovery "has been really slow" and he's been at home for almost six months not knowing what to do with himself. Bryan said he's been watching WWE Network to catch up on old wrestling while hoping to make it back to WWE TV for WrestleMania 31.

"Oh my gosh, I hope so," Bryan said when asked if he'll be part of WM31. "I would be so disappointed if I wasn't. I was just in San Francisco and at the World Series parade, which was awesome."

Bryan also said the hotel where he stayed in Santa Clara, Calif. for an anti-bullying rally last month faced Levi's Stadium, where WM31 will be held. Bryan said he would be heartbroken if he is unable to be on the show when WWE returns in 2015.

Bryan's interview was mainly to discuss the "Yes! Movement" that carried the San Francisco Giants through the Playoffs to World Series victory.
