WWE Newswire October 20

-- JUSTIN ROBERTS WORKING ON BOOK DEAL: Monday's Raw will be without ring announcer Justin Roberts, who parted ways with WWE last week. Now, Roberts is working on a book detailing his journey to WWE, according to TMZ. Roberts wants the book to be "part inspirational, part instructional," TMZ added. [ LINK: Report HERE ]

-- ROSS ON FOLEY'S BUMP: With WWE's Hell in a Cell PPV taking place this Sunday, former announcer Jim Ross recalled Mick Foley's infamous bump off the top of the Cell cage against The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998 in a column for Fox Sports. Ross noted how the bump changed Foley's perspective as a wrestler: "Foley told me that looking back on this memorable moment caused him to take a long look at the business and his approach to it and recognized his own mortality for the first time as it related to the squared circle." The often-replayed moment should also serve as a lesson for today's wrestlers to work a safer style and not take unnecessary bumps to have longevity in the industry. -- BO DALLAS TALKS: Ahead of next month's trip to Europe, Bo Dallas talked to the Liverpool Echo newspaper about his journey from NXT to the main roster, changes to the character since being called up, and a potential program with his brother Bray Wyatt. [ LINK: Full Interview HERE ]

-- WWE DEVELOPMENTAL CUT SPEAKS OUT: Irish wrestler Joe Cabray says he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Sheamus and Fergal Devitt, but he feels relieved that he is no longer in WWE's Developmental system. “One of the greatest days of my life was when I got to sign for WWE, but one of the greatest days also was when I left," Cabray told The Score in Ireland. "It’s a different level. At independent level, there are guys that are willing to help each other. But when you get to WWE, there are only so many spots on TV, and you’ve so many guys aiming for those spots. So sometimes, it can be a bit cutthroat. That’s not the kind of environment that I want to embrace and live my life through." [ LINK: Full Interview HERE ]
