-BIG NEWS AFTER RAW: After Raw went off the air on Backstage Pass, they showed basically John Cena endorsing Dean Ambrose and extending his hand and Ambrose shook it. Then there was an interview segment with The Authority (Triple H and Stephanie) during which they ended up making another bet, this time they mentioned for next week's Raw it'll be John Cena & Dean Ambrose teaming up to face Randy Orton & Kane & Seth Rollins in a three-on-two handicapped Street Fight Match. I get the desire to make Backstage Pass seem relevant, but wouldn't it make sense during the peak viewing period of the entire show - the very end during the overrun - to announce next week's big main event? Does USA Network require WWE to end on a "high note" after the main event rather than do a "wrap-up" with hype for next week? Because other than that, I see no good excuse not to let the maximum number of people know what's set for next week's show. [Thanks to PWTorch reader Warren from Melbourne, Australia]

-BLAIR IN HALL OF FAME: The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum has announced its first honoree for the 2015 George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is located inside the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, Iowa. The 2015 George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend will take place July 10-11. Brian Blair has been selected as the 2015 recipient of the Lou Thesz Award. The Lou Thesz Award is given to an individual in wrestling who has taken the skills of the sport into the realm of public service. Blair is currently the president of the Cauliflower Alley Club, a non-profit fraternal organization, comprised of both retired and active professional wrestlers and boxers in North America. He also has over 7,000 documented hours of community service with over 20 different organizations. “I am both honored and humbled to be recognized with the coveted Lou Thesz Award from the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Waterloo, said Blair. Lou Thesz is a legend and one of the toughest to ever step foot in a ring. July 10th cannot come soon enough for me.” Blair wrestled with Jim Brunzell in the WWF as The Killer Bees in the 1980s, among other territorial runs.

-HARLEY RACE: Eight-time NWA World Hvt. Champion Harley Race, who wrestled as "King" Harley Race in the WWF, is celebrating 15 years promoting the World League Wrestling, which recently relocated to Troy, Mo. They announced their next event will be Oct. 18 at Sedan Jr. High School Gynasium. Karim Birgante and Dave Blasco, two young wrestlers from Italy who trailed at the Harley Race Wrestling Academy, will be at the event.
