WWE NEWS: New WM30 PPV buys figures released, plus latest DVD chart with Ultimate Warrior

WWE released monthly business figures Tuesday on their corporate website. Included are the latest WrestleMania 30 figures.

- Concerning WM30, WWE is reporting preliminary total Mania buys of 690,000 from domestic and international sources.

WWE reported in April that Mania drew "nearly 400,000 domestic PPV buys," which would mean about 300,000 international buys. By comparison, last year's WrestleMania drew about 400,000 international buys and two years ago drew about 500,000 buys.

This points to significantly fewer international buys this year or a significant amount of international fans paying for the WWE Network through back-door channels to watch WM30.

WWE stressed that WWE Network had 667,000 subscribers at the time of Mania, but WWE has not released figures on how many of those subscribers actually watched WM30.

WWE will attempt to clarify the WM30 business results when they report official Second Quarter 2014 earnings around the beginning of August.

- Ultimate Warrior's new DVD, "The Ultimate Collection," shot up the DVD sales chart in its first two months. WWE reported 68,000 units shipped, quickly moving into third place ahead of Triple H's 2013 DVD and the "Legends of Mid-South Wrestling" DVD.

Still topping the chart is Goldberg's 2013 DVD, followed by the "History of WWE" DVD.
