Update: WWE issued a statement Monday afternoon addressing sign-up issues with the Network:

“Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), WWE’s technology partner, was overwhelmed and their systems have been unable to process most orders since 9:00 a.m. due to demand for WWE Network. MLBAM has been working aggressively to resolve this issue.”

WWE Network Launch Updates

- WWE released a video message from WWE CEO Vince McMahon regarding the launch of WWE Network. McMahon hyped the Network as "truly a television experience like none other." [ LINK: McMahon's message HERE ]

- WWE's website experienced system-side technical issues upon the Network launch. We've received reports of WWE's updated App crashing, customer service wait times attempting to complete the billing process, and WWE's website starting and stopping during the sign-up process.

WWE addressed the technical issues on their website Monday morning: "Please be patient if you’re ordering WWE Network as we’re experiencing extremely high demand. Your order will be processed as soon as possible."

- The Network appeared on Apple TV Monday morning following the launch. There are two subscription options: subscribe for $9.99 (with a six-month commitment) through the standard offer on WWE's website or subscribe through iTunes for $59.99 up front for six months.

- The "Terms of Service" for WWE's website was amended on Sunday (February 23) to include TOS for the Network. Included were a few interesting items:

* Registration and Payment for WWE Network: "All subscriptions to WWE Network are for a minimum of six months and select gift subscriptions are for twelve months. Accordingly, your subscription period begins on the date on which you make your first payment for your paid subscription to WWE Network and ends six months later. If you received a twelve month gift subscription, your subscription period begins on the date on which the subscription was purchased and ends twelve months later.

"If you sign up for a Trial Subscription and at the end of your Trial Subscription your subscription is converted into a paid subscription, your paid subscription will be treated as starting on the date on which your subscription was converted to a paid subscription."

* Automatic Renewal Policy: "If your subscription is set to automatically renew, then we will automatically renew your subscription for a six-month period on the date that your initial subscription expires. We will continue to automatically renew your subscription in six-month increments unless you cancel your subscription prior to the end of the applicable six-month period."

"If we discontinue or significantly alter the WWE Network service that you have purchased with automatic renewal, then we (i) will notify you by email, at the email address you provide to us during registration, (ii) may provide you with information about similar or new Services, and (iii) reserve the right to cancel the applicable service."

* Free Trials. "It is very important to understand that you will not receive a notice from us that your Trial Subscription has ended or that your paid subscription has begun. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION CONVERTED INTO A PAID SUBSCRIPTION, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SERVICE BEFORE THE END OF YOUR TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION BY CALLING (866) 308-5684 OR BY CANCELING IN THE BILLING INFORMATION SECTION OF YOUR WWE NETWORK ACCOUNT."

* Access to Services: Although your WWE Network subscription is accessible on a number of devices, your use is limited to one (1) WWE Network stream on one (1) device at any given time. IF YOU CIRCUMVENT OR ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT ANY OF THE USE RESTRICTIONS IN THESE TERMS, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE TERMINATION AND YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO LEGAL ACTION. SHARING OF LOGIN INFORMATION, INCLUDING PASSWORDS, IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN."
