WWE Raw 2/24 news & notes

- Hulk Hogan returned to WWE TV for the first time in over six years to announce that he will guest-host WrestleMania 30. Hogan also hyped the WWE Network. Hogan's return was in Segment 1.

- WWE book-ended the show with The Undertaker returning to TV for the first time in nine months to confront Brock Lesnar, who was back on TV for the first time in one month. Taker chokeslammed Lesnar through a table after signing a match for WM30 to close Raw.

- John Cena sold a knee injury at the official start of a singles feud with Bray Wyatt leading into WM30.

- Daniel Bryan challenged Triple H to a match at WrestleMania if The Authority is going to prevent him from winning the WWE Title. Hunter laughed off the idea, then Bryan beat The Authority's DOO, Kane, in a singles match.

- WWE World Hvt. champion Randy Orton and Batista had a promo exchange setting up their WWE Title match at WM30. The confrontation occurred after Orton distracted Batista into a loss against Alberto Del Rio.

In two separate segments, WWE openly acknowledged audience resentment for the Orton vs. Batista title match at WM30.

- Ric Flair returned to WWE TV on the pre and post-Raw discussion panel with Booker T and Alex Riley.

- WWE followed up on Dean Ambrose abandoning The Shield in their loss to the Wyatts at the Elimination Chamber by having Ambrose refuse to explain what happened on-camera. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns sold not trusting Ambrose's off-camera explanation.

- This week's "Black History Month" recognition went to Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson, father of "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson.

- WWE announced that actor Aaron Paul will guest-star on next week's Raw from Chicago. Paul will be promoting the "Need for Speed" movie due out March 14.

- Announced for Friday's Smackdown is Batista returning to Smackdown to tell the WWE audience what he really thinks about them.
