C.M. Punk foreshadowed his WWE exit during an appearance at the Portland Comic Con last Friday. In a Q&A forum among wrestling fans, Punk talked openly about his current health and frustrations with WWE, which bubbled to the surface over Royal Rumble Weekend and led to him leaving the company on Monday night.

"I'm getting old, man, I'm 35," Punk said. A fan joked back that he's a kid, to which Punk replied, "But, my body's not." Punk said he's been wrestling since he was 15 in the mid-1990s, whereas someone like John Cena started wrestling in 2001/2.

Punk said recent health issues contributed to feeling worn down and needing to take time off.

"There's a lot of miles on me. Right now, I feel a lot better than I have. Three months there for a while, I felt really, really horrible. We were trying to figure out what was wrong. I think I was literally getting an MRI a week and blood work just to narrow down what was wrong with me," Punk said.

"I just think I've been doing it for so long that it's a 'not tired, but exhausted' kind of a thing. I think a break is probably the only thing that's going to make me feel better."

Earlier, Punk joked about what retirement would look like for him.

"(I'll go to) one end of the country, just go into a dealership, buy a car, drive it cross-country, and just drive it into the ocean. (laughs) These are the things I'm going to do with my money when I have time on my hands. It's going to be fun."

Punk later said, "When I'm done, I'm done. I'm going to buy a cabin in some remote mountainous area and no one is really going to see me again. And, it's going to be awesome."

Punk also hinted at being "over" the WWE lifestyle. During the Q&A, a fan asked Punk about going into acting. Punk quipped that he "does it every Monday." Punk added, "I act like I want to be there."

Creative frustrations also came up during the Q&A. Punk said he would like to see WWE have "an idea of where you're going."

"Every week, it's like, 'What are we doing?' Or, 'Oh, they don't remember that; it was two weeks ago.' Or, dropping things at the slightest notion that it's not working or having no real plan of what you're doing," Punk said.

"They're worrying about WrestleMania right now. If it were my company, I would have that all settled and I would be worrying about WrestleMania 31."

Also in the interview, Punk noted he's not upset about Batista returning to WWE, calling Batista a friend.
