Recent World Hvt. champion Dolph Ziggler talked South African news outlet Channel 24 about several WWE topics in an interview promoting next month's international tour. (The full interview can be read HERE at Channel24.co.za.)

- Ziggler on his recovery from a reportedly serious concussion in May: "I took several different steps to make sure I was safe and that the WWE was on top of every step of the way. I’m really looking forward to be back in the ring, I’ve been drooling to get back in the ring and prove how good I am, to go out there, get back to the fans and put on a great show."

- Ziggler agreed that the World Hvt. Title has been de-valued recently. "Here’s the deal. As a titleholder of a championship, you are the representatives of the company. You are the champion, you are the face of either Raw or Smackdown, and for some reason in the past couple of years the World Title has gone down in value from the fans's standpoint and perhaps from an administrative standpoint."

Ziggler continued: "To me, the World Title is one of the biggest prizes in the game of all time, because I grew up as a huge fan of it. So now, my goal is to have this become the premiere title in sports entertainment. Whether that can happen, I don’t know, but I am just getting started. I’m a couple weeks into it, and I promise if it has anything to do with me, then it will become the prize that it was."

(The interview was conducted prior to the Payback PPV, where Ziggler dropped the World Title to Alberto Del Rio as part of a double-turn.)

- Ziggler talked forming a bond with A.J. Lee and Big E. Langston that carries over to television: "Those guys are great, they’re so great and they are fun to be around and the last couple of months we’ve actually really really bonded, all three of us. We travel together, and we wanted to make this work and we’ve become really close, and the closer we become outside the ring, the more in the ring we can just give each other a look and we know we are on a certain page or we know where we are going or if I am in trouble, which is just about every second of the day."
