WWE WrestleMania 29 Post-Game Show Report
April 7, 2013
MetLife Stadium
Report by James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

After the WrestleMania 29 PPV concluded, WWE's YouTube post-game show started with Scott Stanford back at the Stanford Studio joined by Jim Ross, Kofi Kingston, and Dusty Rhodes. They talked about The Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk, which Ross called the best match of the card. Ross said it has to be a Match of the Year candidate. Kingston said that's one of the best matches he's ever witnessed. Dusty talked up the match, then wondered if it there will be a 22-0 match at WrestleMania next year in New Orleans. The announcers then noted how cold it is right now after discussing the World Title match between Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger.

Locker Room: Tony Dawson was next to Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter sitting down in the locker room. Swagger sold the effects of the armbreaker before Colter tried to get Swagger's heat back by claiming sabotage in the New York market. Colter said they knew the deck was stacked against them, but they hoped to overcome the politics of this match. Colter said they proved a point that they're not going away, so he's going to keep preaching.

Back to the Stanford Studio, where Ross questioned Colter's gameplan for the World Title match. The panel then discussed Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar. WWE then cut backstage to Triple H getting his arm X-Rayed in the trainer's room. Hunter's hand and wrist were discolored to sell the effects of the potential injury. Hunter then rubbed his wrist to indicate to the tech where the pain was coming from. Of note, the Stanford Studio was just like a TNT post-game studio with the scattered fans remaining in the stadium cat-calling and randomly yelling.

The panel then discussed Paul Heyman needing to go back to the drawing board after his two men lost, but noted Heyman got his two men in Main Events tonight.

The discussion turned to the main event of Rock-Cena. Dusty Rhodes said he's seen a look in Cena's eyes lately, which told him what was going to happen. Ross then noted he spoke to Cena about an hour-and-a-half before the match and he felt like Cena was in the right frame mind for the match. Ross said Cena was the better man tonight, but next time, who knows? Ah, next time.

Stanford signed off, then WWE flashed still-photos from WrestleMania, including Chris Jericho, the stadium, Diddy, and John Cena's WWE Title victory. Ross said the Brahma Bulls are coming off the title belt, which Cena said last Monday on Raw he wouldn't be doing. Or, at least suggested as much. Stanford signed off and said Monday's Raw will be very interesting.
