In a new development, The Undertaker's WrestleMania 29 status is now up in the air due to health concerns, which could affect the Mania line-up.

Taker's physical condition is reportedly such a big question mark that it has led to WWE pausing to consider Mania contingency plans.

For months, Taker has been rumored to face C.M. Punk at Mania. If Taker can't go at Mania, the longest-reigning WWE champion of the modern-era will have to find another place on the card.

Caldwell's Analysis: If Taker is out of the mix, the easiest solution would be The Rock vs. John Cena vs. C.M. Punk in a three-way match. It might not be ideal, but it would be the easiest fix. It's easy to set up - at Elimination Chamber, Rock either drops the title back to Punk, which would set up Rock having a guaranteed re-match to go with John Cena having a title shot from winning the Royal Rumble, there's a screwjob finish that gives Punk a claim to another title shot, or there's the double pin finish used at Night of Champions.

If WWE is intent on keeping Rock-Cena one-on-one, Punk's options are limited. Jericho is likely out since they faced each other last year (three re-matches of last year's Mania is sketchy), Punk exhausted the feud with Ryback, and Brock Lesnar is locked up with Triple H. There are other opponents on the roster, but none quite feel like a "WrestleMania" match for Punk. A last-ditch option is to go "outside the box" with a celebrity-type, but that's a stretch.
