-- After a series of significant and insignificant returns dotted Monday's Raw, the show concluded with the debut of NXT wrestler Big E. Langston. Big E. was introduced as A.J. Lee's new bodyguard and went after John Cena, giving Cena a new powerhouse heel to conquer. Raw concluded with Big E. standing tall over Cena and A.J. skipping around the ring.

-- WWE dipped their toe in initial hype for C.M. Punk vs. The Rock during Raw. Punk trash-talked Rock during a confrontation with a returning Ric Flair, Rock won a Slammy Award and presenter Santino noted Rock was not present, and WWE ran a video hyping Rock's in-ring return at the Royal Rumble PPV.

-- Returns during Raw, in chronological order: The Boogeyman, New Age Outlaws, Ric Flair, Ron Simmons, Tommy Dreamer, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Ricky Steamboat, Jim Ross, and Triple H. (Full Stories on Flair's return & Hunter teasing The Undertaker returning.)

-- WWE announced a Tag Title match on Wednesday's "Main Event" show - Daniel Bryan & Kane vs. Rhodes Scholars after the Scholars became #1 contenders at the TLC PPV.

-- The top match for Tuesday's live Super Smackdown episode is John Cena & Sheamus vs. World Hvt. champion Big Show & World Title MITB contractholder Dolph Ziggler.

-- The World Title feud between Big Show and Sheamus appears to be continuing. Sheamus attempted to end the feud with a handshake, but Show insulted Sheamus, setting up Sheamus with a chair attack on Show.

After the beat down, Dolph Ziggler teased cashing in his MITB briefcase, but John Cena attacked Ziggler and blasted him into the guardrail. The cash-in was not made official.

-- The following is the list of 2012 WWE Slammy Award Winners announced during Raw:

Match of the Year: Taker vs. Triple H (WM28)
Superstar of the Year: John Cena
Kiss of the Year: A.J. & Cena
Newcomer of the Year: Ryback
Hashtag of the Year: #FeedMeMore
LOL of the Year: Rock-Cena feud
