-- The rumored TLC PPV main event in December is C.M. Punk vs. Mick Foley. (Wrestling Observer report.) This would be a change from what Foley told ESPN in an interview one month ago that he believes he has wrestled his last match. However, WWE set the match in motion on Monday's Raw when Punk and Foley engaged in a heated promo exchange despite not being involved in the same match at the Survivor Series PPV on Sunday. Also, TLC is in Foley's home market of New York.
Punk vs. Foley in a non-title match would also help bridge the gap from Survivor Series to the Royal Rumble when The Rock challenges the WWE champion, which would be Punk unless WWE switches the title to John Cena or Ryback at Survivor Series.
-- There are two paths to an anticipated C.M. Punk vs. The Rock PPV headline match. This is subject to change, similar to the main event finish at Hell in a Cell last month.
Path A - Punk retains WWE Title until the Rumble, Rock wins WWE Title from Punk at the Rumble, Rock vs. Cena II or Rock vs. Punk II at WrestleMania.
Path B - Cena captures WWE Title before the Rumble, Rock wins WWE Title from Cena at the Rumble (or Punk costs Rock the title match at the Rumble), Rock vs. Punk for the WWE Title (or non-title) at WrestleMania.
-- As for WrestleMania 30 in 2014, the location could be determined by whether WWE finalizes a deal to broadcast Summerslam from Europe. Since Los Angeles has been designated as the annual host of Summerslam, WWE could shift Summerslam 2013 to Europe, then bring WM30 to Los Angeles in April 2014. (Figure Four Newsletter.) This could also affect the Summerslam 2014 location since it would be a quick turnaround from April to August.
If Los Angeles were to get a WrestleMania again (following WM21 at Staples Center), WWE could run Staples Center again or continue with the NFL stadium theme by waiting to see if Los Angeles finalizes one of a handful of proposed NFL stadiums attempting to lure a team back to Los Angeles. The issue is WWE and L.A. officials may not know whether one of the proposed stadiums will be finalized by the time WWE needs to make a decision on WM30.
