WWE Smackdown TV taping results

Cleveland, Ohio

Smackdown SPOILERS 11/16

- MizTV to kick off Smackdown. It was so weird hearing Miz talk like a babyface. Mick Foley was Miz's guest, and I suspect that Foley wore the same clothes that he wore on Raw. Foley questions which Miz will show up to Survivor Series - champion Miz or reality TV Miz. Miz then questions his teammates, so Foley calls for a team meeting. Kofi plays peace-keeper between Kane and Bryan, Miz asks Kofi why he didn't shake his hand last week, and Kofi threatens to kick him again. Orton then claims that he doesn't like or trust his teammates.

Dissension is teased, then Team Dolph sans Cody interrupts. Del Rio questions Dolph's leadership. Mick says that Booker T gave him permission to make matches tonight, including Alberto Del Rio & Dolph vs. Miz & Orton. Foley also announces Wade Barrett vs. Kane and Sandow vs. Kofi for tonight.

(1) Damien Sandow beat IC champion Kofi Kingston in a non-title match. Sandow won after a roll-up with a handful of tights.

- Sheamus was shown backstage in the parking lot. I don't know why.

(2) Kaitlyn & Layla & Natalya beat Divas champion Eve & Aksana & Alicia Fox in a six-Divas tag match. Kaitlyn pinned Fox for the win.

- Team Co-Bro vs. Heath Slater & Jinder Mahal was announced for the Survivor Series pre-show on YouTube.

(3) Randy Orton & The Miz beat Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio in a long match. Del Rio got huge heat in Cleveland by doing Orton's mannerisms. Miz won with the Skullcrushing Finale to Del Rio. Afterward, Orton hit Miz with an RKO to a chorus of boos.

- Sheamus is waiting for Big Show in the parking lot. Booker threatens consequences for Sheamus if he doesn't wait until Sunday to get his hands on Big Show.

Sheamus then comes out and tells Big Show that he made it personal after jumping William Regal from behind. He wants to fight, but Show doesn't want to fight tonight because he doesn't want to give Sheamus an excuse for Sunday.

Booker then books Big Show in a main event tonight against a mystery opponent. He hints that the opponent is bigger than Big Show.

(4) WWE tag champion Kane vs. Wade Barrett went to a No Contest. The match quickly broke down into a huge Team Dolph vs. Team Foley brawl. Orton cleaned house with RKOs as Miz watched from the ramp.

(5) U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro beat Sin Cara in a non-title match. R-Truth was on commentary to promote the U.S. Title match at the PPV. Cesaro won clean in 4:00, and the crowd was really into Cara's high-flying moves.

(6) World Hvt. champion Big Show beat Great Khali in a non-title match. This was killing the crowd. Pray for me. Big Show kicked out of a Khali Chop, then won with a WMD.

Sheamus's music played, but he didn't come out. Backstage, Sheamus jumped out of a tour bus and brawled with Big Show. Sheamus laid out Show and walked off to end Smackdown.

Overall, Smackdown was a good fun show, but kinda ended slow with Show vs. Khali.

Dark Match: Sheamus vs. Big Show. Sheamus wrestled in street clothes.
