Former WWE star and current UFC fighter Brock Lesnar says he wouldn't rule out a potential one-off return match in WWE down the line, but his current mentality is getting healthy to continue his MMA career.

Asked by Mauro Ranallo on Tuesday's edition of The Fight Show if he's done with wrestling, Lesnar said, "I think so" before qualifying it, "I should never say never, but right now, my mind is focused on getting healthy and getting back in the octagon."

Lesnar continued: "I want to get back in the octagon. If the day ever came if there was an opportunity for me to make a one-time appearance for wrestling - ya know, timing is everything. If everything was right, maybe so. But, for right now, c'mon, I'm an ultimate fighter and this is where I want to be."

Lesnar said he doesn't real keep in touch with former WWE co-workers such as CEO Vince McMahon, The Undertaker, or anyone else, as those were "business relationships.

"They're not really people I keep in touch with or anything," Lesnar said. "Like I said in the book, without WWE - they put me on a pedestal and made me a household name worldwide. I have to give them credit for some of my success."

Lesnar also discussed his infamous departure from WWE at WrestleMania 20 when the crowd took over his match vs. Goldberg with Steve Austin as special referee.

"Yeah, it was already set up for failure before we even entered the ring," Lesnar said about the match. "The only thing I was thinking about was getting on the airplane and being done with this."

As for more positive memories of his wrestling career, Lesnar said, "I really enjoyed being in the wrestling arena. The moments I spent in front of the crowd are very memorable moments for me. For the moment I went through the curtain and executed my matches until I went backstage, those are all moments. Matches that I can remember were winning the belt from The Rock at Summerslam (2002). WrestleMania moments were wrestling Kurt Angle and almost breaking my neck."

Lesnar, who was promoting this week's release of his "Death Clutch" book, said he selected Paul Heyman to co-write the book due to their friendship, Heyman's experience writing, and Heyman's ability to help jog his memory on the "WWE stuff" that he didn't remember.

Related to UFC, Lesnar talked about his next doctor's appointment on Thursday to determine the next steps treating his diverticulitis, picking Shane Carwin over Junior Dos Santos in the replacement match at UFC 131, and ratings for The Ultimate Fighter struggling.

Lesnar said he's not sure why TUF ratings are down, but he suggested it could be because the show has had the same format for 13 seasons, he can't carry the show solely by himself, Dos Santos isn't a household name, the timeslot, or unfamiliarity with the contestants fighting for a UFC contract.
