WWE champion The Miz dominated his interview segment on Conan O'Brien's TBS's talk show, "Conan," Wednesday night, including coming up with a new nickname and catchphrase for O'Brien.

The interview segment was more like the ultra-hyper Miz interviewing Conan and trying to give him a nickname of "Ginga Ninja" and a new catchphrase of "Step into my dojo, mofo." It remains to be seen if either sticks.

Miz was on Conan's show to hype WrestleMania 27 next Sunday. The interview only got around to wrestling talk at the beginning and end of the interview. In-between, Miz focused on his WWE Title belt, had a mock fight with Conan, and turned the audience against him.

Overall, Miz showed why WWE is behind him as WWE champion and a potential future top star, as he brought tons of energy to his five-minute segment and delivered a memorable performance that represented WWE well.

The segment opened with Conan plugging WrestleMania on pay-per-view before footage rolled of Miz delivering the Skullcrushing Finale to Daniel Bryan as Michael Cole provided the audio from a past episode of Raw. They showed Miz's "I'm the Miz...and I'm Awesome" catchphrase, which included Miz cocking the microphone to show the WWE logo upside down in a bit of unintentional foreshadowing for his "Re-writing Miz-story" segment on this week's Raw.

Miz came out through the curtain in-character mean-mugging for the audience. In a suit, Miz held up the WWE Title belt and the crowd applauded. His music stopped and three people in the audience lightly chanted, "Rocky, Rocky." Miz ignored it and said he's not used to being applauded, rather he's used to being booed out of the building.

Miz talked himself up as the most must-see WWE champion in history. He then gave the WWE Title belt to Conan. "Whoa, what an incredible gift!" Conan said with a grin. He put the belt around his waist, but Miz told him it's upside down, playing up his "Re-writing Miz-story" bit from Raw.

Conan then asked how he gets the belt through security. This prompted Miz to talk about TSA agents stopping him to take pictures. He mock apologized to the audience that he's the reason why lines are held up at airports. He encouraged the crowd to boo and Miz soaked in the boos as Conan mocked his head bob mannerisms.

Next was Miz offering his official "Hello My Name is...Awesome" t-shirts to Conan and his co-host, Andy Richter. They couldn't find the t-shirts, then a stagehand provided the "gifts." Conan admired the shirt at first, then mocked it somewhat under his breath, which drew Miz's ire.

Conan then stood up and ripped off his suit jacket to engage in a mock fight with Miz as Andy pretended to hold Miz back. "How dare you!" Miz shouted in heel mode.

After everyone settled down from pretending to fight and Conan contemplated losing his show, Conan dryly told Miz: "You just confused me with your dickiness."

After a deep pause, Miz took over the interview asking Conan, "What's with Coco?!" in his best Michael Cole high-pitched complainer voice. Conan retorted to the audience: "Get him, everyone."

Miz said he has something better than Coco. "Red-headed mess of TBS." Or..."Ginga Ninja." He did a dramatic build-up to introduce Conan's companion catchphrase: "Step into my dojo, mofo."

Conan botched the catchphrase and laughed at himself, then asked for the belt around his waist to get in the right frame of mind. Conan repeated the catchphrase and bowed his head, prompting a quick fade to black. Back on Conan, he thanked Miz for the catchphrase.

Miz then led a chant of "Gin-ga Nin-ja" (clap clap clap) ROH-style. The studio audience went along with it for a bit before Conan retorted to Miz: "Thank you. You...you just ruined my life."

Conan then gave the final plug for WrestleMania on April 3 and told Miz to come back to the show soon. There was no mention of John Cena or The Rock other than the lone three people in-studio chanting, "Rocky, Rocky" at the top of the segment.

Miz was the second featured guest of the show being former "High School Musical" actor Vanessa Hudgens, who was promoting her new movie, "Sucker Punch."
