Shawn Michaels says that, as of right now, he is not aware of any plans for him to be involved in the WrestleMania PPV this year and he doesn't believe The Undertaker vs. Triple H match needs him.

"I've heard all the rumors. As of right now, I'm doing one thing and one thing only at WrestleMania, and that's the Hall of Fame," Michaels told WDFN 1130 AM in Detroit (WDFN.com) in an interview today.

"I don't think The Undertaker and Triple H need Shawn Michaels to deliver a spectacular match or make this incredibly interesting. Those two can do that on their own. Right now, as far as I'm concerned, I'm going to be there watching it like everyone else."

Regarding his Hall of Fame induction, Michaels says WWE has given him the option of who will induct him, but he hasn't narrowed it down to one person yet.

"That is a decision they have left to me. Honestly, the hardest thing is getting it down for me. It's like someone who asks me what's my favorite match. It's very hard to narrow it down to one guy," Michaels said.

Michaels listed Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman as one group of wrestlers he's considering. He also mentioned Ric Flair and Bret Hart, as well as "behind the scenes" former wrestlers Michael Hayes and Arn Anderson. "My understanding is I'm going to have to make a decision pretty quick. To be honest, I don't know that I've narrowed it down to one," he said.

Michaels also previewed his Hall of Fame speech and talked about similar & different emotions he'll have at this year's WrestleMania compared to last year when he knew his retirement match was drawing nearer.

"It's going to be weird being the guy standing up there (for his Hall of Fame speech). Should I be entertaining? What should I say? I don't want to be boring, I want it to be enjoyable and emotional. It's all real. And you're making the commitment that it's final," Michaels said.

"At every WrestleMania, a wave of emotions always come in. That was certainly the case for me when it came to the end (last year) and it won't be any different for me (this year). ... I'm looking forward to not having the burden of having to live up to Mr. WrestleMania. Just getting to go there as a spectator and watch everyone run around like chickens with their heads cut off (laughs)."

Michaels also talked about his Christian faith and addressed negative opinions of him as a person that some former co-workers might have about him (without naming anyone specifically).

"There are some people that still don't like me. It's very easy to lay a claim against me and have it stick because of the reputation I had. And that's okay. One thing I was never concerned about was getting 100 percent of people behind you 100 percent of the time. It was more important for me to make amends with the people I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that I needed to make amends with," Michaels said.

"You can't handle people that really don't know you. I've had guys that I've worked with for years that I've had maybe ten conversations with and claim to know everything about me and don't like me. And that's okay," he said. "A man's character and who somebody is is the way they are inside the four walls of their home. Other my close friends and family, there are probably a lot of people who don't know a lot of stuff about me. And that's okay."
