Former WWE star "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson said during an interview on Saturday night that he does not see himself returning to pro wrestling.

"I don't see that, man. I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish in the business," Johnson told Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com in an interview from UFC 119 on Saturday night. "Brock Lesnar was the last guy I wanted to wrestle. I had the privilege of wrestling him all around the world and now I have the privilege of watching him kick ass and humbly dominate in the UFC."

Looking back to when he joined WWE in the mid-1990s, Johnson said he "absolutely" would have entered MMA at that time if the sport was as big as it has become today.

"There's no question about it. I love this sport and the thought of competing in the octagon is something I would have loved to have done," Johnson said, before saying with a laugh, "but, I went another route. Too handsome, had to go to Hollywood."

Johnson, who is currently promoting his latest movie role in "Faster," was asked whether he believes the rise of MMA is hurting pro wrestling. He gave an answer that was more focused on MMA's "explosion" promoting fights with a variety of different fighters.

"I don't think it's hurting the business," he said. "What I felt was great for the business of wrestling was the explosion of MMA and the evolution of MMA and all of the disciplines that the fighters bring. I think it's great for business, period."

Caldwell's Analysis: Johnson made it sound like he doesn't want to have an actual wrestling match again, but he didn't rule out the possibility of returning for a non-wrestling role, which he hinted at earlier this year before discussions of a return completely died down.
