The following are news and notes from tonight's episode of WWE Raw continuing the hype for the Night of Champions PPV on September 19.

-- For next week's Raw leading to the PPV, WWE announced a PPV main event-caliber singles match of Randy Orton vs. John Cena. The match was set up after Orton defeated Wade Barrett in the Raw TV main event this week.

-- WWE also announced for next week's Raw a "Raw Roulette" theme to the "season premiere" episode. Past editions of Raw featuring the "roulette" theme have led to odd pairings and gimmick matches.

-- Darren Young returned to TV during the Orton vs. Barrett TV main event and helped cost Barrett the match. Young was kicked out of the Nexus group the night after Summerslam.

-- Chris Jericho was pulled from the Six-Pack Challenge for the WWE Title at the Night of Champions PPV. WWE is continuing to play up the "art imitating life" storyline of Jericho's WWE future in question.

-- U.S. champion The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan was added to the Night of Champions PPV. The Raw brand now has a Five-Pack WWE Title match, a U.S. Title match, and half of the women's division Unification Title match on the PPV. They have not announced a WWE Tag Title match featuring Hart Dynasty. (Read More: WWE News: updated PPV card).

-- During Raw, WWE plugged The Undertaker vs. C.M. Punk for this week's Smackdown. The match will be Undertaker's first TV match since being written off TV in the spring with the "vegetative state" storyline injury. (Read More: WWE News: Undertaker's return match).

-- Divas champion Melina retained the Divas Title over Alicia Fox in a re-match from Summerslam. Fox was "cashing in" her re-match clause after losing the title at Summerslam.

-- WWE did not mention Kaval winning Season Two of NXT last week. WWE briefly plugged the Season Three premiere episode tomorrow night on NXT featuring the current five Rookie Divas cast.
