WWE wrestler Big Show is on the promotional circuit this week hyping Summerslam, introducing the background on WWE's "Knucklehead" movie due out in October, and talking about what's left for him in his WWE career.

-- In an interview with Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun, Big Show (age 38) said he doesn't anticipate stepping away from WWE on his own volition until he can't handle the travel anymore.

"I think I want to stay in the ring as long as I can competitively. Right now I'm able to work and I can handle this 300-day-a-year schedule and the once-a-month-trip overseas," Show said. "Hopefully they'll keep me around for a few more years and then we'll see where my career leads from there."

Show said he could move into being more of an "attraction" type wrestler, similar to how The Undertaker is utilized, if the younger wrestlers on the roster "step up to the plate."

"I enjoy the work and if I can still compete at this level, I'll do this until I'm 50 without a doubt. If I can't compete at a positive level then you have to step down," he said.

Asked how WWE can continue to utilize him as an "attraction" without him becoming stale, Show said it's a "tremendous challenge" for WWE keeping him on TV year-round and not allowing his character to become stale.

"I hear all the time from the powers that be, 'Oh, we put you on TV too much, we overexpose you. You're such a unique attraction. We should really capitalize on that. By the way, you're working 304 days this year.' [laughs]. The only thing that comes in is the fact that sometimes the roster dictates with guys being injured or younger guys not able to step up to the plate quite yet because they're still learning their way on television how the system works that to push the product you rely on your veterans," Show said.

Big Show endorsed The Miz as one of the younger wrestlers on the roster he sees being a future star. Show talked about working with a veteran like Chris Jericho in their tag program, then transitioning to working with Miz earlier this year.

"With Jericho and I, it was two veterans going back and forth and contributing different philosophies and ideas. I actually really learned a lot from Jericho," Show said. "Partnering with The Miz – he talks a lot of trash on the microphone and in public, but Miz is a sponge when it comes to information. He sits there and absorbs it and calculates. I think that's why he’s so successful. ... You have to learn from the people around you and apply it and make it work for yourself, and I think Miz is excellent at that."

-- In an interview with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Big Show talked about working with experienced actors on the set of "Knucklehead" and how the movie reflects WWE's shift to PG programming.

Show said the movie could have been aimed at adults with more adult humor, but he said WWE made a decision to try to appeal to families and kids with the comedy/drama movie.

Regarding the Nexus angle, Show entered character mode to cut a promo on the group. It would be interesting to see WWE split off some members of the group to Smackdown or featuring the group as a unit on Smackdown, where Big Show could play off the storyline that has unfolded on Raw.

"I'm not worried about Nexus at all. Those guys are little puppies. I was in the original Nexus group. I was part of the NWO. I appreciate what they're doing. I wish them a lot of luck. The smartest thing they can do is stay out of my way," Show said in-character. "If I see them step in front of me, I will take it as a threat. It's best not to poke a sleeping giant."
