NXT TV taping for tonight's show

The ring announcer introduced the show and all of the Pros come out on the stage. Of note, the balcony is blocked off and the rest of the arena is almost full. Lots of families in attendance.

(1) The Miz & Alex Riley beat MVP & Percy Watson in a tag match. Miz won the match for his team with his Skull Crushing Finale on Watson.

Zach Ryder came out with his Rookie, Titus O'Neil, who they aired a video package on. Pretty good video. Kofi Kingston then came out with his Rookie, Michael McGillicutty for the first Rookie vs. Rookie match.

(2) IC champion Kofi Kingston & Michael McGillicutty beat Zack Ryder & Titus O'Neil in a very short match. McGillicutty won with a swinging neckbreaker.

(3) Eli Cottonwood beat Kaval. Cottonwood looked very limited in ring, but the crowd was into him. Eli won with some sort of reverse chokeslam. Very short match.

A video package aired on Lucky Cannon. They went backstage to show Lay-Cool consoling Kaval, who looked hurt after his match. They give him a pink "Property of Lay-Cool" t-shirt to cheer him up and physically force his face into a smile.

A video recap aired of Vince McMahon's beat down on Raw. Lucky Cannon vs. Cody Rhodes is up next. Before the match, Cody took the mic and challenged him to a five-minute challenge.

(4) Cody Rhodes beat Lucky Cannon in 4:00. Rhodes won with the Cross Rhodes after virtually dominating the match.

Up next are "Rookie Closing Arguments."

Matt Striker brings all of the Rookies out to the ring and announces an elimination next week. Kaval is wearing his new pink Lay-Cool t-shirt and doesn't look happy. Each Rookie gets 45 seconds to say their piece.

McGillicutty is the last to speak and he says he doesn't need 45 seconds to speak. He then attacks Matt Striker while the other Rookies look on. He drops a senton on him and the show closes with Matt looking hurt.

Superstars TV taping for Thursday

(1) JTG beat Trent Barreta (w/Caylen Croft). JTG won with his finisher in another short match. JTG brought three kids the ring to do his rope routine. JTG is definitely not as over as he was with Cryme Tyme.

(2) Luke Gallows (w/Serena) beat Chris Masters. Gallows won when Masters attempted a top-rope move and Luke connected with the Gallows Pole. It looked impressive.
