-- WWE announcer Jim Ross published a blog earlier today on jrsbarbq.com previewing tonight's Raw and talking more about his difference in philosophy for TV wrestling presentation compared to TNA writer Vince Russo.

"Russo and I are not on the same page philosophically as it relates to creating a pro wrestling TV show but I don't see as that makes either of us a bad guy or either right or wrong," Ross said. "Personally, I lean toward more in ring content but I have never inferred that I did not like wresting talk especially if it is organic in nature, spontaneously delivered, and takes me to a viable and tangible destination."

-- MTV profiled Chris Jericho ahead of Fozzy's "Chasing the Grail" movie release on Tuesday. The story is available on MTV's website.

-- Zack Ryder is buying into The Miz's school of thought on trying to stand out with his gimmick. In an interview, Ryder talked about starting on WWE TV as a generic tag team wrestler in Edge's heel faction to gain valuable experience before changing up his look as a singles wrestler.

"I knew eventually I would have to create a fresh start, but at the time I was able to wrestle guys like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, and that was not even two years into [my career in] WWE," Ryder told Josh Stewart in an interview. "And to be with Edge, who was our leader, and guided us not only in the ring, but backstage, and life on the road and everything like that...I wouldn't trade it for the world."
