WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase, Jr. was on ESPN Radio in Los Angeles for nearly 30 minutes on Wednesday promoting "The Marine 2," talking WWE Raw guest hosts, and sharing WWE stories. It's a good interview worth listening to, as DiBiase shows personality talking a number of interesting WWE subjects. ESPN Radio link.

-- One of the more notable items was DiBiase addressing speculation he'll turn babyface or Legacy will split up. ESPN Radio co-host Mychal Thompson, a former Lakers NBA player, is an avid wrestling fan and brought up the question.

DiBiase coyly said he's not aware of plans to turn babyface: "I've heard that. Fans always ask me. Right now, we got a good thing. Legacy is hot."

-- One of the more interesting stories DiBiase shared was a story on Beth Phoenix reading for a part in a WWE movie and having to cry for the role. DiBiase said she was the most-impressive diva who read for a role and showed range compared to her "Glamazon character" on TV. His recollection of the story is interesting to listen to on the podcast.

-- DiBiase talked at-length about "The Marine 2" compared to the first Marine, which starred John Cena. "John only had to save his wife. I took it a step further," he said dryly. "I had to save an entire resort from terrorists."

DiBiase said Randy Orton was high on the movie after he watched it. He said Orton is the type of guy who would tell you "if something sucked." He added that Orton told him it was probably the only time he's been jealous of DiBiase because he wanted the role. "I wouldn't be surprised to see Orton in a movie," DiBiase said.

DiBiase also recommended WWE needs to branch out beyond just doing action movies. "WWE needs to branch out and do more than just action. They do have some very talented individuals," he said. "I'd love to do a drama or some romantic comedies."

-- DiBiase was asked about the future of WWE if Vince McMahon were to ever step down after Shane McMahon left. (DiBiase didn't address Shane's departure.)

"Triple H is married to Stephanie. It's just like any marriage. You know who runs the show, it's Stephanie," DiBiase said with a chuckle. "But, Hunter's great, man. If Vince were to ever decide to step down, those two are like a power team."
