WWE received their desired mainstream press in the sports world on Tuesday, one day after Dallas Mavericks NBA owner Mark Cuban went through a table via Sheamus on Monday's Raw.

On Tuesday afternoon, ESPN's popular "PTI" sports talk show featured a clip of Cuban going through the table while hosts Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser discussed the angle.

The hosts have regularly talked about WWE items that pop up when there is a sports tie-in, most notably the Denver Debacle during the NBA Playoffs in May.

During yesterday's exchange, Wilbon referenced the AWA while Kornheiser name-dropped Andy Kaufman in relation to Cuban being an attention-seeking, polarizing figure. The exchange was as follows:

Kornheiser: "Happy trails, Mark Cuban. Cuban hosted WWE Monday Night Raw in Dallas last night. Not only did he get kneed in the man region, he was thrown into a table by someone named Sheamus. He Tweeted today that his back is still sore. I have two words for Cuban. Andy Kaufman."

Wilbon: "I have just total admiration for Cuban for doing this. Cuban grew up in the Midwest when I did when we watched the AWA with Verne Gagne, Nick Bockwinkel, and Dick The Bruiser. He must have been fixated on wrestling just like I am - or was - at the same age, grew up watching at the same time.

Kornheiser: "Would you do that - would you do that if they asked you to do it?"

Wilbon: "Maybe."

Kornheiser: "Really."

Wilbon: "I'm not famous enough."
