WWE News: Raw co-host says she wants to work for WWE again; WWE gets its mainstream coverage Oct 14, 2009 - 11:02:41 AM
-- This week's WWE Raw co-host Maria Menounos says she wants to work for WWE again after getting a taste of performing in front of a wrestling audience. In interviews prior to appearing on Raw this Monday, Menounos said she was a life-long wrestling fan.
"I told Vince (McMahon) I want to come back with Maria Kanellis as 'The Golden Greeks' and come out to 'Zorba the Greek' music," Maria told the Boston Globe.
WWE strives for mainstream coverage each week with their weekly guest-hosting concept. The Boston Globe provided it this week via a full-length interview with Maria, who also talked about suffering a minor injury during the six-diva tag match on Raw.
"I kind of smashed my tailbone on that flip, but I got some ice on it and I’m fine," she said. "I took six training sessions (before Raw) and learned the different moves - the leg drop, the arm drag, the sunset flip."
