WWE wrestler The Miz coyly hinted in an interview today that he might be on the Summerslam PPV against U.S. champion Kofi Kingston in a bonus, unadvertised match. He didn't confirm anything, but was trying to drum up more interest in Summerslam on Sunday.

Miz was asked by Brian Fritz of Between the Ropes Radio why a potential match-up against Kofi Kingston was not on the card after WWE seemed to be building to a title match. Miz said in-character that "you never know what's going to happen."

Miz was also asked about the program with John Cena where he insulted Cena several straight weeks on Raw TV, but was booked to lose clean to Cena in three straight matches. Miz said he was glad to be on TV cutting his own promos against the top star in the company, but added that he didn't look serious enough to beat Cena. He said that was one reason why he changed his look and wore standard wrestling trunks on Raw this past Monday.

"I would have loved to go longer as well, but he's a main eventer. He's built his way (to the top). It made me realize certain things and learn more things about myself," Miz said. "That's why I came out with the new look. I realized I need to build my way - I need to look and act more serious. The Capri pants with the sparkles probably wasn't getting the job done."

Miz said the Capri pants were weighing him down in the ring. He said it was difficult wrestling in the heavy pants with the sparkles and he felt much lighter in the ring on Monday wrestling in standard gear.
