WWE News: Tommy Dreamer interview, Hacksaw Jim Duggan working on a book, Breaking Point PPV update Jul 5, 2009 - 9:56:12 AM
-- Tommy Dreamer was interviewed in the Journal News (N.Y.) to talk about his rise to fame in WWE as ECW champion. "Tommy Dreamer isn't a big gimmick," he said. "It's the real deal. I think my fans can relate to me because I'm the guy next door, I'm the guy who had to work his way up." Tommy Dreamer interview
-- Hacksaw Jim Duggan says he's working on a book detailing his career in pro wrestling. After writing a lengthy blog on WWE Universe hitting high points of his career, he said, "There are a million stories that happened in these territories, but this is just a short run down and I want to save some stuff for my book." Duggan said he still trains as if he's going to get a call to wrestle on TV for WWE even though he hasn't been on a show in three months. Jim Duggan blog
-- The "Breaking Point" PPV in September will be an all-submissions match event, according to the Bell Centre website in Montreal. The PPV was originally believed to feature only the top matches with the submissions-only stipulation. Thanks to Devin Cutting
