WWE News: Miz briefly addresses last night's loss to John Cena, WWE buries Miz on website Jun 29, 2009 - 10:50:49 AM
The Miz acknowledged that people want answers about WWE booking him in a decisive loss to John Cena at last night's The Bash PPV. Miz stayed away from getting himself into trouble, though.
"Most would want me to say something about the bash," he said on Twitter. "Well.....I'm still awesome."
After Miz lost clean and easily to Cena in less than six minutes, WWE announcers tried to point out that Miz had some offense during the match. However, WWE's website buried Miz with this description of the match:
Miz was short for "Mizery" at The Bash as John Cena battered the self-proclaimed "chick magnet" relentlessly, hitting his opponent with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and the Attitude Adjustment before making him submit with the STF.
Caldwell's Analysis: The way the match concluded with Cena completely dominating and Miz being scripted to show no fight or resistance was such a head-scratcher. All can be erased from the memory bank tonight on Raw if Miz is booked strongly to save some semblance of credibility.
