Former ECW General Manager Armando Estrada was released from his WWE contract last month and he's glad to be gone from WWE because the creative team wasn't utilizing him to make money for WWE.

One of the key storylines on ECW included GM Teddy Long, and Armando fighting for his WWE contract. However, the storyline was suddenly dropped and Armando was left without a slot on ECW TV.

"What happened is that during that storyline of Armando fighting for his contract, we switched writers and somebody else came over to write the show and the storyline that I had under the old writer kind of got dropped," Armando told the Monday Night Mayhem radio show.

Armando continued: "(There was a) period of about a month where I wasn't on and I hadn't 'earned my contract.' Victim of different creative divisions."

Armando says he would be interested in working for any company willing to give him an opportunity to make money for both himself and the company, whether it's TNA, ROH, Puerto Rico, or in Japan.

"If they're going to give me an opportunity to come in and work and show that I can get over and entertain and the money is right, then why wouldn't I want to do that?" Armando said. "I wasn't able to do that in WWE at the end."

Armando says he was trained to be a wrestler, went to school to become a wrestler, and has dedicated his life career to the wrestling business. But, he wants to be with a company where it makes sense for him to be involved in storylines.

"It's got to make sense for them too. If you're just going to bring me in to throw me by the wayside, then I don't really know how that's going to make money for your company," he said. "I will be prepared to make a return on your investment. My job is to sell tickets by entertaining people."

He added: "If the WWE is around, and they are interested in me in a year or two ... the door is open for me to come back, but it has to make sense for me to come back: both sense and cents."
