WWE News: Michelle McCool says WWE banned one of her moves, responds to "haters" Dec 9, 2008 - 1:03:58 PM
WWE Smackdown diva and current Divas champion Michelle McCool says it's not easy filtering out the negativity she feels is surrounding her right now, which plays into her current storyline on TV.
"It's not easy to filter out all the negative things people say and/or write about you," McCool said on her WWE Universe blog. "It's not easy to go down the road less traveled. It's not easy to always be yourself."
McCool also defended herself against critics of her in-ring work, saying she's done everything possible to improve and work hard to be given the championship opportunity by WWE.
"I love how people so quickly forget that I have been here four years and worked my butt off every single day...pitching storylines, training at DSW, working in the ring, doing appearances, etc.," McCool said. "Not just that, but in case you forgot - I'm certainly not the only 'diva search reject' under contract right now."
McCool also explained why she stopped using the "Wings of Love" finishing maneuver, which is essentially a double underhook facebuster/Christopher Daniels Angel's Wings/Awesome Kong implant buster.
"I haven't used it in quite some time now, but that's not by choice," she said. "Truth is, I'm not allowed to use it anymore. Apparently, it was too devastating for us girls! Seriously."
She hopes to bust out another move on Maria and/or Maryse, though, in future matches on Smackdown.
"The only good thing about that is that I debuted a new one on Marsye this weekend and believe me, I think you'll be impressed," McCool said. "I have to keep it under wraps for now until I use it on TV. Hopefully, it's not too rough for us girls."
