By Ian Hunter, PWTorch Specialist

I just, I just wanna be lo-o-o-ved. Ian Hunter here, coming to you in the crisp clarity of HD. Walking out on stage to the massive pyro that you couldn't clearly see since the camera wasn't aimed right. All these wonderful LCD lights behind me... which part of the wall burned out and died behind me. But oh well, let's head to the ring and show off how you can see the ugly little beads of sweat coming off my head. Damnit, why did we go HD? We're into our final week of the Rumble trivia, but first we need to answer last week's questions.

1. A. The Undertaker was lined up to take a second championship win and set up a possible Taker vs. Hogan match, or even a Taker vs. Sid Justice match. Wow, could you imagine seeing that one five years before it was due?

2. A. Diesel was the last out of the ring after getting a Sweet Chin Music from Shawn.

3. E. Aja Kong was due to take on Blayze for the title and win. Now that I think about it, maybe it's better that we didn't see that match on the card.

4. C. 25 total. 10 in 1997, 7 in 1998, and 8 in 1999.

5. B. Scott Steiner made his solo debut at Survivor Series the year before.

I actually need to post a correction to last week's trivia. Kane actually won the record from Shawn Michaels in 2003. The mistake was all mine for trusting WWE material. I know a lot, but I do try to double check my info, and the records I went by from WWE said Kane took the record from Jake. Upon inspection of year-by-year records, (and help from Adam Grammas) it appears Shawn took the record from Jake, then Kane took it from Shawn. Sorry for the bad info, and I apologize to all those who lost by one on my failure to triple check the info. As for this week, we have one winner. How fitting for a Rumble trivia. Curtis Shanks. Congrats, but it's a new week, and your back in the list with the rest of them for another week of Rumble trivia. Answer the questions and email your answers to TorchTrivia@gmail.com. We’ll post the names of those who got ALL FIVE correct. Good luck to you all!

1. The 2000 Royal Rumble was the last one held at Madison Square Garden until this year. This one saw the last "official" match for Cactus Jack as he lost to Triple H in a Hell In A Cell match, Tazz finally made his debut after two months of "13" promos, and The Rock won his first Rumble match (even though it later was surrounded in controversy.) Even though the roster was well stacked, many people competed in more than one match. Which of these people did NOT compete twice in one night?

A. Hardcore Holly
B. Bradshaw
C. Mr. Ass
D. Kurt Angle
E. Chyna

2. When the WWE passed a certain point in time, they started bringing people back to the Rumble for either one-off appearances or returning them to the active roster. A trick that ended up bringing new life to the event in the new decade and created many memorable moments. Some of them were stars who were inactive for a period of time from the company, like The Godfather or Val Venis. But most of them were people who were competing in other companies just a short time ago and were now back in the WWF/E under their old names. Which of these people did NOT make a return at the Royal Rumble in this fashion?

A. Jeff Hardy
B. Paul Wright
C. Dustin Runnels
D. Curt Henning
E. Tonga Fifita

3. The brand split is probably one of the worst things to ever happen to the Rumble. Every year now it becomes clear that at the end you're going to be looking at a representative from Raw and one from Smackdown as the final two. Which leads for very compelling story telling, but on another level makes the ending very predictable as you can clearly see who the final two are coming down to the end. The first year it happened, Brock Lesnar was the winner, eventually representing Smackdown. In order to even get into the Rumble, Lesnar had to have a qualifying match. Who did he take on?

A. Kane
B. Rikishi
C. Kurt Angle
D. A-Train
E. Big Show

4. 2004 was the year for a lot of major events. Chris Benoit became the second man to win entering at #1, The Undertaker made his return known helping eliminate Kane, and Triple H took Shawn Michaels to a double countout in a last man standing match. The night also marked the semi-return of one individual. Who was it?

A. Steve Austin
B. The Rock
C. Mick Foley
D. Hulk Hogan
E. Tazz

5. Now it's hard not to say that for years the winner of the Rumble has been pretty predictable. Ever since Steve Austin in 1998, you can pretty much pinpoint every winner by the leadup to the event. The Rock, Lesnar, Triple H, Benoit, the left of remaining people goes on. But last year it was decided t go with an unlikely choice in The Undertaker. They put him into the event like they always have before, simply saying that he's a forced to be reconned with and is sure to lay waste, but never predicting him as a winner. So it's no surprise the shock on fan's faces when the last two men were The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels when so many others were being billed as the potential winner. But Shawn wasn't the first pick to be there at the end with Taker. Who was the original second pick?

A. Sheldon Benjamin
B. Edge
C. Randy Orton
D. Chris Benoit
E. The Great Kahli
