-Hulk Hogan continues to float the idea of wrestling again. Hogan told Yahoo Sports that his back is okay and would like to face John Cena in a match, but he stopped short of saying an in-ring return is going to happen.
-Hogan also shot back at "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who was quoted by the New York Post that he's a bigger legend than Hogan. Hogan said perhaps they should settle it in the ring.
-Daniel Bryan says no one is really sure when he'll be able to wrestle again. "I mean, I’m hoping soon, but I don’t think the doctors are thinking it’s going to be that soon. The problem is nobody really knows. I’m doing my best to recover as fast as possible," Bryan told "Spinoff Online" at the San Diego Comic-Con last month in an interview released this week.
-Bryan Quote on WWE signing KENTA: "People’s eyes are going to be opened with KENTA. He just brings a different style that we’ve never seen in the WWE before. Tajiri threw a lot of kicks, but they weren’t as intense as KENTA’s. Being on the receiving end of KENTA’s kicks is one of those things that translates very well to the audience because you can see it, but somehow the audience is almost able to feel it. The noise, the impact. Everything. It’s gonna be exciting, and it’s gonna make everybody step up their game."
-Hulk Hogan says he had a long conversation with Sting about wrestling in WWE on the plane ride home from Comic-Con last month. "I think by the time I beat on him for the three hours from Los Angeles to Dallas that I think we were on the same page and he knows that he needs to get in that ring and leave his mark in the WWE and make a huge statement. I hope it happens sooner than later," Hogan said.
-Triple H took the "Ice Bucket Challenge" outside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles. TMZ was on-hand to interview Hunter afterward.
-Stephanie McMahon was interviewed by the L.A. Times ahead of her match against Brie Bella at Summerslam.
-New Ask the Specialists Roundtable: Is there a way to liven up the Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt feud coming out of Summerslam? The PWTorch specialists tackle the topic in the latest RT.
