NWA-TNA PPV Results
November 5, 2003
Nashville, Tenn.
Report by Wade Keller, PWTorch editor

After a recap of last week, they went outside where Scott Hudson interviewed Jimmy Hart...

(1) C.M. Punk & Julio Deniro beat Lazz & Kid Kash at 7:31. Good pacing, nice moves. (*1/2)... Hudson interviewed Raven... Tenay interviewed Jeff Jarrett in mid-ring. Fans chanted "Hogan" at Jarrett. Jarrett talked about the international attention the Hogan situation has received, a good idea since it's not exactly the buzz of the U.S. A.J. Styles interrupted from the crowd. Jarrett called him a redneck. They brawled. Red Shirted Security and Don Callis attacked Styles. Abyss then attacked the Red Shirts and Callis. Callis overacted badly... Hudson interviewed James Mitchell. Another great promo...

(2) Shane Douglas beat Sandman at 5:49 after a belly-to-belly. (3/4*)... Afterward, Douglas welcomed his new female Franchise member and made sexual innuendo... Hudson interviewed Hart who asked Jarrett to explain the Bash incident. Sting then shouted, "It's showtime"..

(3) Sonny Siaki & Ekmo (w/Trinity) beat America's Most Wanted at 9:16 after David Young interfered. Very formula, but solid. (**)...

(4) X Division Battle Royal with Sonjay Dutt, Chad Collyer, Low Ki, Jonny Storm, Christopher Daniels, Shark Boy, Chris Sabin, and Masked X. Tenay said he had no idea who Masked X was (Pierre Oulette), but he was 265 pounds, much bigger than the rest. X easily overpowered and eliminated several wrestlers. It came down to Daniels, Low Ki, and Sabin working over X. Sabin eliminated both Daniels and Low Ki as they fought each other, then X powerbombed Sabin on his head on a chair to win (*3/4)... A videotape message aired with Roddy Piper. More coherent than usual, but no more relevant...

(5) 3 Live Krew beat Glen Gilberti & David Young at 4:09 after a chairshot by B.G. James on Gilberti (1/2)... Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger ran out afterward and AMW made the save. AMW and 3LK exchanged some heated words...

(6) Raven pinned James Mitchell at 5:18 in a bloody one-sided beating after a DDT. Raven hung Mitchell by the neck over the top rope afterward. Raven said Jarrett was next... Low Ki said he will go all-out against former partner Daniels...

(7) Sting beat Jeff Jarrett via DQ at 8:50 (*). Afterward, a big schmoz took place with Styles, Raven, Abyss, Callis, and the Red Shirts, then Lex Luger was announced for next week's PPV.
