-WrestleMania weekend is here and the WWE personalities are making numerous media appearances leading up the big event Sunday. Chris Jericho seems to be the busiest of all wrestlers making the appearances this week, as in addition to appearing on Howard Stern, Craig Kilborn, and Best Damn Sports Show Period, he also made an appearance on today's Wayne Brady Show. Does anyone else find it odd that Jericho didn't make this many appearances last year when he was main eventing WrestleMania against Triple H?

Anyway, PWTorch.com reader J.M. sent the following report: Just got finished watching Jericho on Wayne Brady. He came off really well, as Wayne Brady is a big Jericho mark and has front row tickets to Wrestlemania. Jericho told a story about when he was fighting the Rock through the crowd and threw a cup of tobacco juice in the Rock's face by accident. Jericho sang a song from Oliver after Brady's pushing him to do so, and by the end of the segment Jericho had the crowd (mostly composed of young to middle aged women) worked up in a frenzy.

-Former WCW personality Jeff Katz sent the following note in regards to yesterday's item on the "Freddy vs. Jason" horror movie: "As one of the guys working on "Freddy vs. Jason" (and a longtime Torch newsletter subscriber), I can tell you that wrestling fans should really enjoy the third act of the film. I'm making a point to use wrestling logic from my WCW days to help us edit the fight scenes. I hope all the Torch folk enjoy when it hits screens this August!"

-The Playboy website has posted an interview with Torrie Wilson, who discussed how wrestling has changed her sex life. "I'm not one to give it up right away," Torrie said. "And I bring out real surprises after a while. I'm not into whips and chains - but I do like being dominant sometimes. That's probably increased since I started wrestling." -NWA Wildside is presenting "Hardcore Hell" weekend in Cornelia, Ga. The first show tonight is highlighted by A.J. Styles vs. Ron Killings, and The Lost Boyz vs. Scottie Wrenn & Tank vs. Future Shock in a three-way tag team ladder match. Tomorrow night's show features Dory Funk Jr. & Adam Windsor vs. The Shane Brothers, and Iceberg vs. Stone Mountain in a cage match for the NWA Wildside Title. Bull Buchanan, David Young, Tony Mamaluke, and Jason Cross are also advertised for tomorrow night's show, along with "a few surprises along the way," according to the website preview. We should have full results from both shows later this weekend.

-Just want to say a quick hello to Sgt. Jake Anderson, who wrote to say that he is keeping up on his wrestling while serving in Israel by logging onto PWTorch.com.
