Torch Today
New Volunteer Contributors Wanted: Apply this week to be part of PWTorch.com! Jul 15, 2008 - 3:35:37 PM
If you are interested in being a volunteer contributor on a regular basis to PWTorch, now is the time to apply. We are interested in adding some "alt perspective" TV and PPV reporters who can watch shows live as they air and file a report right afterward. A willingness to follow our specific format and editing your work well is a must.
We are also looking for good writers to contribute some specialty columns on subjects that you may have a particular interest in or knowledge of. Let us know what that is and we may be able to add it to our line-up in the Specialists section.
If there's something you'd like to see on PWTorch on a regular basis that you don't see, let us know. Maybe we can find someone who can add that to our site, too, even if you're not the person to do it.
Send a paragraph to pwtorch@gmail.com with what you have in mind. (Obviously the quality of your writing will be judged in your application, so don't expect a response if you don't show a grasp of formal grammar skills and a gasp of spellcheck when you write!) Also let me know your age and how long you've been a fan - we aren't ruling out any age, but we want to have a variety of perspectives and backgrounds in our contributors.
We usually get flooded more requests than we can respond to. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for offering your help. Understand there is a level of arbitrariness to how we pick our contributors once certain criteria are met, so please don't take it personally if you're not picked. But don't let that discourage you, either, because if you're interested in being part of one of the top pro wrestling websites with a legacy name brand that's been around since 1987 and is associated with some of the most historically relevant, hard-hitting, and entertaining coverage of pro wrestling over the last 20-plus years, this is your opportunity.
Send feedback on this article to pwtorch@gmail.com and we'll regularly publish reader feedback in the "Torch Feedback" category on the Main Listing.

Wade Keller's newsmaking in-depth interviews with wrestling's biggest names are now being made available exclusively to VIP members. But you must be a member each month, as these are not archived, so they are replaced with a new one each month! This debuted in January 2009 with a 68 minute interview with the late "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. Who's next? Hulk Hogan? Eric Bischoff? The Rock? Goldberg? Jeff Hardy?
