Rate the 1/5 WWE Raw on a 0-10 scale if you saw the event Jan 5, 2009 - 9:50:26 PM
I would rate raw a solid 6. nothing great, just standard matches.

You want to talk about a cure for insomnia, the WWE is at an all-time high
when it comes to boring. I don't know maybe I have outgrown wrestling but
after watching some of the old AWA reruns on ESPN, I am beginning to
realize the silly, outlandish storylines and piss poor acting in today's
product just doesn't cut it for me. It is amazing what people will settle
for these days. I can't help but think, and this may surprise some people,
one way to improve the product is with veteran Jerry Lawler. The WWE needs
to turn him heel again as an announcer and start using him as an antagonist
occassionally in the ring like they used to do. Heck, I would even stick
the ECW title on him because that product is even worse than RAW.

Katina, take it from me, you never outgrow wrestling. But your comments
are right on the money!

Just to be clear, my criticism is with the writing, not the performers.
The performers do the best they can with the material they are given. They
have the performers to produce a very good product. I would love to see
what Jim Ross would do if he were in charge of the booking, and were free
to do what he wanted. Of course, it'll
never happen.
