Booker T began his second WCW World Hvt. Title reign 15 years ago today when he won the title from Kevin Nash in the main event of Fall Brawl 2000.
Booker's reign only lasted one week, though, as Vince Russo claimed the title on an episode of Nitro. Booker won the title back the following week on Nitro to begin his third reign.

Tony Schiavone, Mark Madden, and Scott Hudson introduced the program.
(1) Elix Skipper (w/Major Gunns) pinned Kwee Wee (w/Paisley) at 11:02 with Overdrive to retain the Crusierweight Title.
(2) AWOL & Cpl. Cajun & Lt. Loco beat Three Count at 10:17.
Kevin Nash turned down an autograph request from a boy in the backstage area. He only had a buck and a half to offer. Nash told him to buy a soda.
(3) The Harris Boys beat Kronik at 6:42 in a "First Blood" chain match.
(4) Lance Storm beat Gen. Rection to retain the U.S./Canadian Hvt. Title when special ringside enforcer ref Hacksaw Duggan turned on Rection at 6:44. Duggan ripped off his ref shirt to reveal a Canadian maple leaf underneath. (*1/2)
Gene Okerlund interviewed The Thrillers. Sanders did a killer imitation of Konnan. When Konnan came out, he shot back some comments at the Thrillers. He made a reference to their artificial physiques. Konnan didn't exactly meet his match with Kronik when it came to a war of wit, but Sanders vs. Konnan could be fun.
(5) Konnan & Disco Inferno & Big Vito & Rey Mysterio Jr. & Juventud Guerrera fought Jindrak & Sean O'Haire & Johnny the Bull & Reno & The Event & Sean Stasiak & Mike Sanders to a no contest at 16:00 in an elimination match. At 14:00 Orndorff gave Jindrak a piledriver, but hurt himself executing the move and fell prey to a pin. Two refs entered the ring to check on Orndorff's condition. Tigress entered the ring and gave Jindrak a Bronco Buster. At 16:00 ref Charles Robinson called for the match to be stopped so they could tend to Orndorff. (**)
(6) Shane Douglas & Torrie Wilson beat Kidman & Madusa at 5:15 in a scaffold match. As Madusa climbed down the ladder, Douglas tried to kick her off. Madusa grabbed Douglas's crotch. Douglas kicked Madusa backwards off the scaffolding. She fell onto a mat below. When Douglas returned to the platform, Kidman gave him a dropkick. Torrie gave Kidman a low blow from behind and Douglas shoved Kidman off. Kidman crashed through the landing pad below. (**)
(7) Sting pinned Great Muta in a three-way match with Vampiro at 5:06. Muta and Vamp beat up Sting two-on-one. At 4:40 Muta and Vampiro began exchanging blows. ICP, who had graced us with their color commentary wit, entered the ring to calm the tempers. Sting recovered and used a baseball bat against the heels. He then hit Muta with the Death Drop for the pin. Afterward, ICP and Vamp beat up Muta for losing, so Sting yanked Muta out of the ring to save him, then he left on his own. The announcers wondered what was happening between Sting and Muta. Barely watchable. (*)
In a segment taped earlier, Gary Coleman from "Diff'rent Strokes" walked out of the retro bus with Mike Awesome. Awesome tried to get Coleman to say "Whatchutalkingabout?"
(8) Mike Awesome pinned Jeff Jarrett at 8:00. At 8:00 Coleman ran into the ring and gave Jarrett a low-blow from behind. The crowd popped big. Jarrett got up and smashed his guitar over Coleman's head; the crowd also popped huge for that. Jarrett set up Awesome for his finisher, but Sting ran in and gave Jarrett the Death Drop. Awesome then scored the pin. Fun match. (**3/4)
(9) Scott Steiner defeated Goldberg at 13:51 via submission. When Russo entered the ring late, Goldberg choked Russo. Steiner then nailed Goldberg with the lead pipe from behind. Steiner again applied the Recliner and his arm dropped three times. A shirtless Russo celebrated with Steiner and Midajah. (***3/4)
(10) Booker T beat Kevin Nash at 9:07 to capture the WCW Hvt. Title. At 8:30 Nash made a comeback and pulled down his straps. He set up the Jackknife, but Booker escaped, ducked a punch, and gave Nash the Bookend for the clean pin. The match was dramatic, but could have used at least five minutes or more of intense, relatively fast-paced action to make it more believable that both wrestlers were so exhausted. At the 4:00 mark both wrestlers appeared they had been fighting at least 10 or 20 minutes. Other than that, though, it was a solid, dramatic match with a satisfying ending. An ending "out of nowhere" in a big match is so important because it makes every move and every pin attempt matter in the future. Rather than waiting for interference or other histrionics, next time two wrestlers are fighting and one hits a move out of nowhere and makes the cover, everyone will pop for the kick-out. Good match.
