In Brief: The main roster debuts of Charlotte and Sasha Banks could increase demand for their early trading cards.

The introduction of Sasha Banks, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch on Raw has given hope to wrestling fans who have been begging for change to WWE’s awful Divas division. Collectibles of these and other NXT women were already hot items with collectors, and their exposure to a larger audience may increase their popularity.

Charlotte and Sasha have each appeared on a handful of trading cards, but Lynch has yet to make her WWE trading card debut. If you know of any pre-WWE trading cards of Lynch (a/k/a Rebecca Knox), feel free to send that info along to michaelmoorewriter@gmail.com.

Sasha’s first trading card actually predates her NXT debut. She was included - as Mercedes KV - in the independent 2012 CTWE trading card set. According to WrestlingTradingCards.com, these cards were produced by Custom Sports Cards and given away at the CTWE Born for Battle 3 event on Oct. 20, 2012. There are 35 cards in the set, including Brian Danielson, Billy Gunn, and Colt Cabana, among others. Some cards that were signed by the wrestlers were inserted into packs.

The Mercedes KV card from the 2012 CTWE set can be found online for about $15. There is at least one autographed copy of this card being sold on eBay, which is signed “Mercedes KV a/k/a SB.” The seller of that card is asking about $35.

Sasha’s only WWE cards so far are from 2014. She was included in the NXT Prospects insert set (card #17 of 20) in both basic Topps and Topps Chrome. The Chrome version of the card usually sells for $3-4, and the basic version can be found for $1-2.

Charlotte first appeared in the U.K.-exclusive 2013 Topps Slam Attax Rivals. This card sells for around $5, but can be relatively tough to find. In addition, some sellers tend to charge very high shipping outside of the U.K., so that may turn off some U.S. buyers. Charlotte is also included in the 2014 version of Topps Slam Attax Rivals, with that card usually selling in the $2-3 range.

Charlotte is prominently featured in the 2015 Topps Chrome product. Her Commemorative Belt Plate card, which features a replica of the NXT Women’s Championship belt, is one of the top sellers in the set. The basic version sells in the $10-15 range, and the serial numbered Pulsar Refractor version (serial numbered to 75) sells for $17-25.

Charlotte’s most expensive card is her NXT Autograph card from 2015 Topps Chrome. The basic autograph, signed with a heart and a “Woooo!” inscription, sells in the $50-75 range, with serial numbered parallels selling higher.
