Dusty Rhodes's death has generated discussion about his top rivals. In the mid-'80s, “the American Dream” faced no greater foes than the Four Horsemen. In 2012, Dusty inducted his long-time nemeses into the WWE Hall of Fame.

If you’re a fan of the Four Horsemen, keep an eye out at your local Target store for a new box set of action figures. The Target-exclusive set from Mattel features new Elite-style figures of Horsemen mainstays Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard.

Also included is the first Mattel action figure of Barry Windham. Mattel has made only a couple other Flair figures to date, and Anderson and Blanchard previously only appeared in Mattel’s Internet-exclusive WWE Legends line.

The set carries a $50 price tag. That may seem a little steep, but keep in mind that most Elite-style figures have a retail price of $18-23 each.

Not surprisingly, the Windham figure has been the most popular of the four with collectors. The figure depicts Windham with slicked back hair, black trunks, red and white cowboy boots, and a removable black vest. Loose Windham figures have been selling on the secondary market for $35-40, while loose figures of the other three have been fetching about $15 each.

Mattel’s Target-exclusive WWE Hall of Fame line is still relatively new. The first series was released last summer, with new figures of the Ultimate Warrior (with blue WWE Championship belt), Trish Stratus (with dark hair and WWE Women’s Title belt), Sgt. Slaughter (with removable helmet and other accessories), and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (with removable vest).

The second series was just released and includes Yokozuna (with both WWE Tag Team Title belts), Tito Santana (with removable shirt), Hulk Hogan (with removable shirt), and Eddie Guerrero (with roses and removable shirt). Individual figures retail for $20.99 each.
