Leaf Trading Cards has released images of its newest wrestling product, something that will appeal to collectors of wrestling history, photography, and autographs.

Leaf 2015 Wrestling 8x10 Photograph Edition features authenticated autographed 8x10 photos of more than 100 wrestlers, including The Rock (a very rare autograph), Sting, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jerry Lawler, Bill Goldberg, Mick Foley, Roddy Piper, and more. Each box includes five signed photos, with 10 boxes per case. Only 200 total cases are being made.

While many of the photos will be signed by one wrestler, Leaf 2015 Wrestling 8x10 will also include pictures signed by multiple wrestlers. The promotional sale sheet includes images of some pretty cool multi-signed photos, including Shawn Michaels/Scott Hall, Bret Hart/Bill Goldberg, and Hulk Hogan/Bob Orton. Leaf is also advertising “multi-signed photos signed by famous tag teams, legendary opponents, and massive multi-signed pieces signed by 15-30 wrestlers each.”

What will be most interesting to some collectors will be rare certified autographs of deceased wrestlers. Leaf is advertising “Macho Man” Randy Savage for this product, and the promotional sale sheet prominently shows a signed Chris Benoit photo.

The inclusion of Benoit in this set is certainly going to stir a variety of emotional responses. Benoit’s autographed trading cards and other memorabilia sell very high on eBay, but this is the first time a company has included Benoit in a new product since 2007.

Leaf has been producing signed 8x10 products for years with its 8x10 and 11x14 Pop Century products. Autographs from recent products have included Megan Fox, Anna Kendrick, the cast of the Walking Dead, Seth Rogen, Jenny McCarthy, and Matt Damon.

While the idea of including a signature of a deceased individual may seem odd to non-collectors, it’s nothing new in the sports and entertainment collectibles business. Major card and collectibles companies regularly purchase signed photos and documents and include them in their products once they have been identified as authentic by professional authenticators such as PSA or JSA.

Leaf 2015 Wrestling 8x10 Photograph Edition is scheduled for release in July 2015. A box (five autographs) is $129.95 and a case (10 boxes, 50 autographs) is $1,249.95. Pre-order information can be found at BlowoutCards.com.

WWE Selling First Kevin Owens Memorabilia

Kevin Owens’s clean win over John Cena at Elimination Chamber has been the talk of the wrestling world – and WWE is already capitalizing on that buzz.

WWE Shop is taking pre-orders on a framed 15x17 photo collage commemorating Owens’ victory. It includes two color photos: one of Owens taunting Cena, and one of him standing victorious with the NXT title belt. The plaque also includes a swatch of canvas from the ring used at that event. This item is not autographed.

WWE is charging $64.99 for this piece, which is certainly a better deal than the similar Dixie Carter/Bully Ray piece being sold by TNA for $199.99.

The Owens plaque can be found at Shop.WWE.com.
