- New Jack, Young Bucks Headline New Toy Line. Last week’s PWTorch.com Collectibles Column featured an interview with Chris DePetrillo of Figures Toy Co. talking about the company’s new line of Ring of Honor action figures. Figures Toy Co. is following up the ROH line with new figures of top independent talent and wrestling legends.

During the last week, Figures Toy Co. has announced contracts with the Young Bucks, New Jack, Joey Ryan, Cliff Compton, and Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins in WWE). These will be the first-ever action figures for Ryan and Matt & Nick Jackson, and the first modern-era figure for New Jack. Myers (as Hawkins) has appeared in WWE toy lines from Jakks Pacific and Mattel, and Compton (as Domino) was included in Jakks’s WWE toy line.

Figures Toy Co. will continue to announce new names as wrestlers sign their contracts. Follow them on Twitter @FiguresToyCom, Instagram (figurestoycompany), and Facebook (Figures Toy Company).

- “Thunderlips” Featured in new Topps Set. Hulk Hogan may be the only person in 2015 to appear in trading card sets from Topps, Panini, and Leaf Trading Cards.

Beckett.com announced earlier this week that Hulk Hogan will appear in Topps’s 2015 Allen & Ginter set. What’s interesting about this card is that Hogan is identified as “Thunderlips,” his character from “Rocky III.” The image released by Beckett showed a “Thunderlips” inscription in addition to Hogan’s usual signature. This product will also include an autograph from Rocky Balboa himself, Sylvester Stallone.

Allen & Ginter is a popular baseball product from Topps that also incorporates cards of other athletes and celebrities. Now in its tenth year, previous Allen & Ginter products have included autographs from wrestlers like Shawn Michaels and the Iron Sheik. Other big name autographs from previous Allen & Ginter products have included Manny Pacquiao, Danica Patrick, Kate Upton, Michael Phelps, Snoop Dogg, Axl Rose, and Serena Williams.

- Tommy Rogers Trading Card. Veteran tag team wrestler Tommy Rogers sadly died on June 1. Rogers and Fantastics tag team partner Bobby Fulton didn’t have any action figures or many collectibles, but there is one trading card available.

The Fantastics were featured on card #36 in the 1986 Monty Gum trading card set. The 1986 Monty Gum set is an unlicensed product that features mainly photos cropped from magazines and is notorious for many errors. It is still a popular set with many collectors, though, and the Fantastics card typically sells anywhere from $2-6.

However, finding these cards in mint condition can be somewhat tricky, because they were attached with a top-to-bottom perforation in packs. Only two copies of the Fantastics card have been graded by Professional Sports Authenticators (PSA), both of which received a PSA 10 (gem mint). No copies have been graded by Beckett Grading Services (BGS) as of June 2, 2015.
