Great, great guitar playing by Brett Favre last night on Impact. Wicked stuff. Actually, no, that's Eric Bischoff rocking out. He was playing so furiously that for a brief second that fans forgot about Destination X. Heck of a thing to see the night after a PPV - in the first 15 minutes of Impact, TNA pretended the PPV didn't exist. Can't blame them.

So Brett Favre finishes his tune "Screw y'all I ain't going to training camp" and says that as a real musician, he can't stand fake musicians, like Jeff Jarrett or those sad Guitar Hero dudes who take their craft way too seriously.

At least the skits of Foley balancing a book on his head and Jarrett flipping burgers had a purpose in adding to the Foley-Jarrett-Bischoff-Bischoff's Goons, Beer Money saga. I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff Jarrett vs. Eric Bischoff inside a steel cage. And while we're at it, I would pay also to see Bubba the Love Sponge get punched in the face.

In my crystal ball, I see this happening for Samoa Joe...

Tenay: "Oh my goodness! That's...that's Samoa Joe! We haven't seen him in the Impact Zone since...since...uh..."

Taz: "Ah who cares. A long time ago. Those ninjas finally released him. Just look at him, Tenay! He's got a pirate eye patch on and a hook for a hand! Whoa!"

Tenay: "I wouldn't want to mess with him!"

I would love to be proved wrong, but it seems that TNA is unsure if Joe can be a part of the new TNA regime, so, currently in their eyes, Samoa Joe never existed.

Currently I'm downloading Bret Hart's "Survival of the Hitman" documentary on YouTube. Also this morning I bought HBK's "My Journey" DVD. These two guys are some of my favorite wrestlers. Bret and Shawn appear to have one last hurrah. Come WrestleMania 26, there's probably going to be some weeping done by little ol' me.

I'm jaded about wrestlers retiring. I remember taking the hook, link, and sinker for the 2000 Foley retirement.

Ric Flair is resembling Judge Smails from Caddyshack these days. The character of A.J. Styles is sad nowadays, but heck, there's Judge Smails doing his over-the-top comedy shtick. I'm half expecting the ghost of Rodney Dangerfield to make an appearance. "Hey, you're Abyss, right? What are you, the poster boy for birth control? Hey, Dixie just offer me a TNA contract and Pope's spot! I'm back, baby!"

I would like to nominate Abyss as having the worst wrestler costume for 2010. A black shirt with red and yellow splotches? You would expect a deranged monster who shot his own father to dress better.

I hope that Matt Hardy does have a great 2010. No joke. I remember his solid ECW Title run and his nice heel character he busted out around WrestleMania 25 time. Then...Matt Hardy got lost in a forest for 10 months and he re-emerged as a tag team with Great Khali before Maria left him high and dry.

Pete Rose was a letdown on Raw. But tell me you're not pumped up for Wayne Brady guest hosting. If you're not, Wayne Brady's gonna choke ya.

Raw in general was a lot of video packages, but WWE already did the heavy lifting. Even if WrestleMania's matches are a disappointment, from a build-up standpoint, WrestleMania 26 is already a success. It's been a long time since a wrestling PPV had great to excellent buildup in the majority of the matches.

On Impact, Foley walked away and Matt Morgan killed Hernandez. It was very depressing. Then Rob Terry cut a damn near perfect "Ultimate Warrior" promo, nonsensical and everything. I mean, if you're gonna push this dude, at least make the ride enjoyable. His squash matches are rapidly approaching "Khali squash match" status. You hear what I'm saying? Ten Vladimir Kozlov squash matches in a row would be better than "a clothesline, a slam, a spinny kick, and a chokeslam."

It would be nice to know why exactly Flair and Hogan hate each other. I don't agree with the idea that "well, we don't need to properly spell out their feud, because we'll just have the fans go on their past connection with this feud."

Next week, it's going to be RVD & Eric Young & Jeff Hardy vs. The Band. That's a scary match. Why? You've got a team featuring two hot, new free agents vs. old relics that have pull within the company and are going to get over, to heck with how the fans like it. The Band is not going to just eat a loss 1-2-3. But at least TNA announced a main event beforehand (gasp) for next week's show (double gasp).

That's it for me. I'm gonna retire. I'm serious. I've had enough.
