10/29 WWE Superstars Hits & Misses: Swagger vs. Primo, Cryme Tyme & Truth vs. Hart Dynasty & Knox Oct 30, 2009 - 10:05:00 PM
Swagger vs. Primo: Superstars got off to a good start this week with the first match which was better than any match on last week's show. Jack Swagger and Primo put on a good match. It was only 6 minutes, but was enjoyable to watch while it lasted. There was a lot of energy and the crowd was really pumped for Primo. Swagger looked like a star and was very strong in a pretty dominant victory. But, Primo had enough offense and some nice flurries in some comebacks to keep the crowd into it hoping for an upset.
Cryme Tyme & Truth vs. Hart Dynasty & Knox: While I am sick and tired of the Cryme Tyme vs. Hart Dynasty feud, at least they changed things up a bit with the addition of R-Truth and Mike Knox. Plus, this was a good tag match. It wasn't great, but it had a nice amount of athleticism with JTG, Tyson Kidd and Truth, with the mix of power from Shad, Knox and DH Smith. The pacing of the match was pretty good throughout. The ending sequence was fun as four of the wrestlers were eventually knocked out of the ring to clear things up allowing Truth to get the win over Kidd. I still think Kidd has too much talent to be in a go nowhere tag team with the rather dull Smith in a nonexistent tag division on Smackdown, in a team that never wins.
SUPERSTARS MISSES
None: Like last week, there wasn't anything to really dislike about this program. However, unlike last week, there were actually two good matches making it a better show. I prefer having three matches on Superstars than four, but the extra Divas match of Kelly Kelly vs. Alicia Fox was solid, as was the ECW match of Zack Ryder vs. Tyler Reks. They weren't Hits, but they were better than Misses. There wasn't anything annoying to complain about.
