Both men shook hands to begin. AeroStar with a head scissors followed by a cross-body to the outside. Drago hit a sunset flip and went for a pin, but Drago hit a springboard DDT. He followed it up by kneeing AeroStar and kicking him in the face. Drago squashed AeroStar in the turnbuckle. Drago sent AeroStar to the floor and followed it with a Senton bomb.

On the outside, Drago missed an attack and hit the ringpost. AeroStar capitalized with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Drago lifted AeroStar in the corner and flipped him off the top. Both men rolled through trying to get pins until AeroStar got a two count. AeroStar flipped over Drago to powerbomb him to the floor. Then, he hit a springboard dive for the win.

WINNER: AeroStar at 4:55.

Post-match: Both men shook hands again. Dario came up and congratulated AeroStar. He said he wants more out of him, though. He said that the two men would spend more time with each other. He said they would be in a Best of Five series and the winner would receive a unique opportunity.

Backstage: King Cuerno was bouncing off the ropes then dove to the outside in slow motion. They plugged Mundo vs. Cuerno later on.

Announcers: Striker said that Mundo will be coming for blood tonight.

In-ring: Santos introduced Cage to the ring. His opponent is Prince Puma.

2 -- Lucha Underground champion PRINCE PUMA vs. CAGE -- non-title match

Cage threw Puma around the ring early on. Puma went for a springboard, but Cage countered, then knocked him out of the ring. Cage waited for him to recover then suplexed Puma into the ring. Cage went for another suplex, but Puma rolled through. Cage caught Puma and hit a fallaway slam. He then twisted Puma's head. Puma broke free and went for a kick, but Cage tossed Puma again.

Cage missed a splash, then Puma recovered and hit a kick. Cage rolled out of the ring and Puma hit a Shooting Star Press to the outside. Puma then hit a 450 splash for another nearfall. Cage went for a gut wrench slam, but Puma rolled through and went for a pin. Puma kicked Cage again, then went to the top and missed a splash.

Cage hit a devastating clothesline for a two count, then a pumphandle slam for a nearfall. Cage locked in his reverse Boston Crab move looking for the win, drawing out Konnan to ringside to cheer on Puma. Puma got to the rope to break the hold. Cage powerbombed a weakened Puma, then hit another slam and beat down Puma. Konnan grabbed a towel and threw it in the ring to signal the end of the match.

WINNER: Cage at 8:40 via forfeit.

[Break]

Backstage: Konnan told Puma he did him a favor. He said that they need to execute their plan.

Elsewhere, Sexy Star told Dario she's sick of The Crew. She insisted on wanting to take them on alone. Dario offered for her to fight the Big Ryck instead and she accepted.

In-ring: Santos introduced Vinny Massaro already in the ring. His opponent tonight is Pentagon, Jr. Pentagon told Santos to announce that this match is dedicated to his master.

3 -- VINNY MASSARO vs. PENTAGON, JR.

Pentagon chopped Vinny to the ground. He superkicked him, then kicked him down. Pentagon hit a piledriver-type move for the win.

WINNER: Pentagon, Jr. at 1:00.

Post-match: Pentagon set up a table in the ring. He chopped Vinny's back, then powerbombed him through the table. Pentagon then 'broke' Vinny's arm.

In-ring: Santos introduced King Cuerno. Johnny Mundo was out second.

Cuerno hit a quick elbow. Mundo hit a series of clotheslines until Cuerno stopped him and hit a leg drop. Cuerno worked Mundo's knee and stomped on his chest. Mundo struck Cuerno multiple times before spearing him for a two count. Mundo went for a springboard, but Cuerno escaped. Momentum shifted back and forth until Mundo hit another springboard move.

Mundo hit a neckbreaker, then Cuerno kicked him out of the ring. Cuerno followed it up with the arrow of death to the outside, driving Mundo into the guardrail. Cuerno hit another suicide dive, then placed Mundo on the announce table. Cuerno hit a third arrow of death, which made both men collapse to the floor. The referee counted to ten for a double count-out.

WINNER: Double count-out/draw.

Post-match: They continued to brawl on the outside. Mundo dove through the ropes to attack Cuerno, but Cuerno slammed Mundo into the steps. They traded blows and Cuerno knocked down the referee. Mundo got a sudden burst of energy and went on to attack Cuerno again. Mundo then threw Cuerno into a cage onto some cardboard boxes to close out the show.

Backstage: A Cadillac drove through some green lighting.

FINAL THOUGHTS: The stars came out tonight with a stacked show and some excellent matches. Top to bottom this was another high=quality show that showcased the top talent in Lucha Underground. This week forwarded a lot of upper-card storylines as opposed to featuring Son of Havoc and The Crew the past few weeks. I've said it before but, it's worth saying again especially with this episode that what makes this show feel special is that all the storylines feel important. Prince Puma and Cage is clearly the main story but, there is so much more to the show with every talent. All the core talent are in a meaningful program where they will come out of it stronger. I don't like this WWE mentality of only one or two things matter and the rest feels like throe-away. The mid-card needs to feel important, too, because it elevates everything else going on and makes those matches mean something so you care about who wins.

SUMMARY RESULTS: (1) AeroStar pinned Drago...(2) Cage defeated Prince Puma via forfeit... (3) Pentagon, Jr. beat Vinny Massaro...(4) King Cuerno and Johnny Mundo fought to a double count-out/draw.
