Announcers: Michael Cole & Marc Loyd.

Before the opening video rolls, Funaki shows a replay of how he beat Albert and then Albert attacked him afterwards. Funaki then interviews John Cena, who Albert is facing tonight.

(1) John Cena beat Albert. John Cena has on cool black and gold tights. Too bad they change every week. Michael Cole makes fun of Marc Loyd and the Jersey Shore. I'm from North Jersey, so it doesn't phase me. Lockup to start. John Cena puts on a headlock, and then Albert hits a shoulder knockdown. John Cena then locks on an arm wringer and a hammerlock. Albert then hits an elbow and delivers knees to John Cena's head. Albert pins John Cena for a 2 count. Albert then pins John Cena for another 2 count. Albert hits a splash in the corner and then pins John Cena for another 2 count. Albert hits a clothesline and then a short arm clothesline. Albert pins John Cena for another 2 count. John Cena hits a missile dropkick. John Cena then hits a back suplex and pins Albert for a 2 count. Albert hits a bicycle kick and pins John Cena for a 2 count. (2) Billy Kidman beat Doug Basham. Lockup to start. Doug Basham delivers a knee to the gut. Billy Kidman hits a huracanrana. Doug Basham then gets in an eyerake and catapults Billy Kidman to the outside. Doug Basham pins Billy Kidman for a 2 count. Doug Basham delivers a kidney shot and then some suplexes. Doug Basham pins Billy Kidman for a 2 count. Doug Basham then locks on a Camel Clutch and pins Billy Kidman for a 2 count. Billy Kidman then gets a pin and a 2 count. Doug Basham hits a sidewalk slam and pins Billy Kidman for another 2 count. Doug Basham locks on a surfboard. Doug Basham's shoulders are on the mat and Billy Kidman pins him for a 1 count. Doug Basham then surfboards Billy Kidman on the ringpost. Doug Basham hits a bodyslam and Billy Kidman then hits a dropkick. Billy Kidman then hits a clothesline and another dropkick. Billy Kidman then hits a flying bulldog and pins Doug Basham for a 2 count. Doug Basham then hits a spinebuster and pins Billy Kidman for a 2 count. Doug Basham then hits a legline. Doug Basham pins Billy Kidman for another 2 count. Billy Kidman then hits an Enzuigiri and pins Doug Basham for a 2 count. (3) Tajiri beat Shannon Moore. Lockup to start. Tajiri puts on a hammerlock. Shannon Moore then puts on a hammerlock. Shannon Moore gets a pin for a 2 count. Shannon Moore hits a bodyslam and then a flipping swinging neckbreaker. Shannon Moore pins Tajiri for a 2 count. Shannon Moore then hits a huracanrana and pins Tajiri for a 2 count. Shannon Moore then hits a spinning heel kick and pins Tajiri for a 2 count. Tajiri hits a backkick and pins Shannon Moore for the 3 count.

[end show]

Notes: Good action on Velocity. All the matches were good, with the heel getting most of the offense in and then the face coming back and winning. Except for in Tajiri and Shannon Moore's match. Shannon Moore did a good job, though, and didn't screw anything up. Billy Kidman and Doug Basham had the match of the night. Billy Kidman made Doug Basham look like a million bucks and a legit threat to beating him. That's all for now, don't forget to read The Writer's Block on Wednesday in The Torch Lounge. I got a huge mailbag to answer, so that should be fun. Send me feedback at Flexholly@aol.com.
