TNA Impact TV taping results

The building was about 25-35 percent full for the second of three tapings. This was for two weeks worth of Impact episodes.

January 16 Friday debut

The show started with an MVP promo. He says his new faction is the Beat Down Clan. Eric Young says Bobby Roode never gave him a title shot, which is why he turned on him. Kurt Angle responded with a promo and they went to a match...

(1) Samoa Joe beat Kurt Angle. There was a post-match attack on Angle, but Bobby Roode made the save. What a concept for babyfaces to help one another.

Bobby Roode cut a promo vowing payback.

(2) The Hardys beat The Wolves in a spot-filled match.

(3) Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Angelina Love) beat KO champion Taryn Terrell & Brooke. Awesome Kong appeared, destroyed Angelina and D.J. Zema, and brawled with Havok.

(4) Low Ki re-captured the X Division Title from Austin Aries.

Beat Down Clan promo. They took the TNA Title from Bobby Lashley and beat him down.

January 23 Episode

(1) Gail Kim beat Havok via DQ. Kong fought Havok.

(2) Mahabali Shera beat Tigre Uno.

James Storm cut a promo on Matt Hardy about his past drug problems.

(3) Feast or Fired winners: Robbie E., Rockstar Spud, Austin Aries, and Magnus.

(4) Jeremy Borash vs. Ethan Carter III went to a No Contest. Mark Andrews, the winner of TNA British Bootcamp 2, debuted.

(5) Matt Hardy beat James Storm. Abyss attacked Hardy afterward, then Jeff Hardy made the save and challenged Abyss to a Monster's Ball match.

(6) X Division champion Low Ki & Eric Young beat Kurt Angle & Bobby Roode.

(7) TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Lashley beat Kenny King via DQ. Beat Down Clan jumped Lashley and cut a promo. Roode and Angle made the save.
