TNA Impact TV taping results
August 5, 2014
New York City
Report by Kyle Petrano, PWTorch VIP member

Hardcore Justice Taping

(1) Abyss beat Bram. Very violent match. The crowd was into it, chanting "We Want Fire" and "Holy s---." Hardy to watch because of the hardcore nature.

Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud, and Rhino came out to talk about Dixie Carter being put through a table. ECIII said it was all Rhino's fault. He ripped into Rhino, who told him he was looking at a dead man if he kept talking. Rhino told him to shove his money up his ass, then ECIII gave Rhino a beating I've never seen Rhino take before. ECIII and Spud left alone after the attack after new aggression shown by Ethan.

(2) Samoa Joe beat Low Ki. Best match of the night with the hard-hitting style I prefer.

(3) Mr. Anderson beat Sam Shaw in an I Quit match. Throughout the match, they built tension between Gunner and Anderson.

The Hardys came out next to set up The Wolves vs. Team 3D vs. the Hardys for the Tag Titles "next week." Cool segment.

(4) Bobby Roode and Eric Young tied to become #1 contender(s) to the TNA World Title. They "won" over Magnus, James Storm, and Austin Aries.

Second Impact Episode Taping

(1) KO champion Gail Kim beat Angelina Love in a Last Knockout Standing match.

(2) Tajiri beat Robbie E.

Kurt Angle cut a promo on MVP, who interrupted Kurt, then Tommy Dreamer interrupted MVP.

(3) TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Lashley beat Tommy Dreamer in a Street Fight. Great heat on MVP and Kenny King.

(4) Low Ki & Tigre Uno & Crazzy Steve beat Homicide & D.J. Z. & Manik in a six-man X Division match. Manik literally gave his shoes away.

(5) Rhino beat Ethan Carter III via DQ when Carter used chair shots. Spud was the best part of the match.

The debuting Chris Melendez was welcomed by Team 3D and Kurt Angle.

(6) Team 3D won Match #1 in a TNA Tag Title series over TNA tag champs The Wolves and The Hardys. The first team to win twice wins the series and the titles. The stipulation for the next match is a Tables match.

Overall, I thought it was a very good show.

Xplosion Taping

(1) Tigre Uno beat Crazzy Steve. Very entertaining.

(2) KO champion Gail Kim beat Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Taryn Terrell. Very high-energy good match.
