TNA Impact on Thursday, April 3 scored a 0.94 rating off a first hour 0.94 rating and second hour 0.94 rating.

Impact benefited from "Cops" returning to Spike TV as the lead-in show, as Impact opened with a show-high 1.06 rating in Q1. The next-closest rating was a 0.96 in Q3 and Q8.

Impact Break Down

Q1: Impact opened with a 1.06 rating for the quick-start Jeff Hardy & Bully Ray vs. Bobby Roode & ECIII tag tables match. There was no commercial.

Q2: Impact fell to a 0.87 rating for two commercial breaks and Mr. Anderson vs. Sam Shaw in a straightjacket match.

Q3: Impact rebounded to a 0.96 rating for the end of the straightjacket match, one commercial, and Kenny King interacting with MVP.

Q4: Impact fell back to a 0.87 rating for two commercials and Sanada vs. Tigre Uno in an X Division match.

Q5: Impact got a slight top-of-the-hour bump to a 0.92 rating for Magnus addressing Abyss, one commercial, and backstage segments.

Q6: Impact trickled up to a 0.93 rating for the Beautiful People's reunion tag match, one commercial, and the first-half of the MVP vs. Kenny King "exhibition match."

Q7: Impact trickled up to a 0.94 rating for the second-half of MVP-King, one commercial, and main event ring introductions.

Q8: Impact trickled up to a 0.95 rating for the four-way TNA World Title match involving Magnus, Abyss, Samoa Joe, and Eric Young, plus one mid-match commercial.

Caldwell's Analysis: If properly promoted, the BP reunion match and the TNA World Title match should do at the very least 1.0 ratings. But, the show felt so rushed with segment after segment flying across the TV screen that the audience could not process these two big elements.
